Pulling off a long epic campaign in a current setting is hard to do well. Research, playtesting and printing time means that once its in players hands, the mentioned things in the campaign can be be overcome by events and will feel dated or even silly. Another issue is that it can easily be controversial to include different current or near current events and/or people still around. All of these things are easier to avoid in a 1920 setting.

@StevenGEmsley ahh new phrase learned. Could be a fun exercise. Books need to arrive first and schedule clear a little, but count me interested

I mostly read in my Mancave or the bedroom. The mancave is my combined office, library and gameroom. Closed firewood stove for cozyness and easy sitting for 10 people around the game table.

This weekend I watched The Professor and the Madman https://m.imdb.com/title/tt5932728/ I found it an interesting and enjoyable watch, but what really blew me away was Sean Penn's acting as a Schizophrenic. For people like us, it's worth watching just for that. It made me think what other films has actors convincingly play out insanity. Suggestions?

I got the 3 items seperately as gifts over Christmas. Recently I discovered that a Slipcase exist to group the 3 together. My question is: Is it available in any way separately? Buying the Slipcase version just for the Slipcase is not financial viable

The more skills you add the harder you make it for the Investigators. Unless you add additional Skill points with it, skills will either be ignored or overall skill will be less well rounded.
