  2. "The RuneQuest: Glorantha Bestiary opens up the world of Glorantha and Dragon Pass... Its combination of background and stats, friends and foes, supports Game Master and player alike and together serve to make (it) an essential companion to RuneQuest: Roleplaying in Glorantha."—Reviews from R’lyeh. https://rlyehreviews.blogspot.com/2019/05/gloranthan-friends-and-foes.html
  3. Our friends at TYPE 40 have forged a sword - a RuneQuest sword, inspired by the weapon being wielded on the cover of the RuneQuest Quickstart. We hope to have this wonderful weapon on display at Gen Con.

  8. As befits its antiquity, Sun County (Prax) has very powerful wyters - the four Guardians of the different directions. (There was also once as "Guardian of Above" and a "Guardian of Below", both of which make a reappearance in the post 1621 time-frame). Under RQG, I think the Sun County regalia would hold pools of Yelmalio rune points that the listed rune spells could be cast with.
  9. "Greg Stafford, who had already given us Glorantha, wrote his love letter to Sir Thomas Malory and 15th century Arthurian Romance. If Call of Cthulhu was Chaosium's greatest commercial success, this game was their greatest artistic one... If you like your games literary, thoughtful, and thrilling, Pendragon needs to be on your shelf."—Andrew Logan Montgomery reviews the 5.2 edition of Greg Stafford's self-avowed 'masterpiece'. https://andrewloganmontgomery.blogspot.com/2019/05/king-arthur-pendragon-52.html

  16. GEN CON event tickets will be released for purchase by the public on May 19th. With our support of crack team of GMs and Keepers from the Cult of Chaos, our director of organised play Todd has out together a massive program of games in our dedicated 20 table event space. If you're coming to Gen Con, book early from May 19th: these events are all likely to fill fast! First off, conventions scenarios we've run at Gen Con before and will be running again this year, in #ThrowbackThursday: https://www.chaosium.com/bloggen-con-preview-1-chaosiums-massive-program-of-scheduled-games Here are the brand new convention scenarios we'll be debuting this year at Gen Con: https://www.chaosium.com/bloggen-con-preview-2-new-convention-scenarios-debuting-at-gen-con And, as part of our massive program of games at Gen Con this year, we're featuring the following VIP Creator's Series sessions: https://www.chaosium.com/bloggen-con-preview-3-chaosium-creator-series-vip-sessions And with Call of Cthulhu continuing to be one of top games with the highest unmet demand at Gen Con year after year, it's wonderful that there are many groups and individuals committed to running Chaosium games at the convention. Some of these other GM groups we know will be running their own Chaosium games at Gen Con this year are listed here (more are certain to be added to the program both before May 19 when event registration goes live, and in the lead-up to the con): https://www.chaosium.com/bloggen-con-preview-4-other-groups-running-chaosium-games-as-call-of-cthulhu-continues-to-be-one-of-top-games-with-the-highest-unmet-demand/

  20. We have been delighted with enthusiastic reception the Call of Cthulhu release Terror Australis 2nd Edition has received, including the request made by the National Library of Australia to add the work to their collection, as being of "national significance". Chaosium will be doing an official launch of the book on the 26th of May. Many of the Terror Australis authors will be in attendance as guests of honour. "The Terror Australis launch will be a great way to mark the release of the work, and also to recognise and celebrate the extraordinary longstanding contribution Australian writers have made to the Call of Cthulhu RPG and wider Cthulhu mythos", said Call of Cthulhu line editor Mike Mason. The launch takes place on Sunday May 26th in The Atrium at the Woodlands Hotel, Coburg, VIC Australia. All are welcome.
  21. A: If a player uses the reflex card they are not expelled from the library and so will continue to participate in the round. Accordingly, the lowest sanity card remains on the table. The round continues until all players have left the library. At that point there will be no more sanity cards available. Sanity cards do not carry over to the next round.
