  1. You're welcome Though I had intended to pick up the physical book from DTRPG before I saw the post about the impending refresh. In which case my purchase would have been lost in the data stream of the old (non-fresh) version.
  2. It doesn't make sense to our human minds at least. Of course, this same "motivation" appears in probably 2/3 of all fictional villains.
  3. The link to the core rules is dead. It looks like this might be the better source now: http://www.chaosium.com/heroquest-pdf/
  4. And it just funded! It was quite a big push today after so many days of inactivity.
  5. The current version (5.2) is in a current Bundle of Holding: https://bundleofholding.com/presents/KAP2017 There's a second bundle as well with some additional material: https://bundleofholding.com/presents/Pendragon2
  6. I finally got around to reading through the RQ6 GM pack and was very intrigued by the Scourged Earth setting outline. After searching on this board, I see there isn't really a plan to develop the setting as a whole, but are there any forthcoming adventures or sourcebooks planned?
  7. Same. Since my nearest FGS (no L) is more than 60 miles away.
  8. It has stunning artwork, but then all the games coming out of Sweden lately seem to have stunning art (looking at my own recent acquisitions of Symbaroum and Coriolis in particular). I think the most interesting part of Western (the rules at least) is the target overlay that you put on top of your target and your dice rolls tell you where your shot actually landed:
  9. Posting this here (instead of there) so as not to jinx the Kickstarter. What happens to this project if the KS fails to fund?
  10. I voted, but I'll throw my voice in here as well. I'd prefer a hardcover. Mostly because I already have a softcover and I'll potentially have another from the RMR Kickstarter. Hardcovers also tend to lay flat on the table better than softcovers in a book this size.
  11. I'd prefer rust brown if given that option. And after I looked at some of the art on the RMR site I changed my pledge to the €100 level to get the shirt. This looks like a very cool setting.
  12. I've never really been a steampunk fan, but this doesn't look like typical steampunk to me. Looks like I'll back this. What does the T shirt look like?
  13. I've been looking at using the method of "Advantage" from Revolution d100 while also keeping the Critical/Fumble mechanic in place. Advantage is any time the tens digit exceeds the ones digit. This would mean a 50% skill will still crit on a roll of 1-5, but also get Advantage (or Special success if you like) on rolls of 10, 20-21, 30-32, 40-43. I think this could be used for an extra level of failure as well, though I'm personally comfortable with simple Failure and Fumble. I haven't play tested this yet, but the numbers look pretty fair to me.
  14. That gauss pistol image is my new favorite thing. I might have to build an entire character concept around that gun.
