  1. Awesome, Mythras will be more for me then, since I'm not a big Glorantha fan.
  2. I just found some more info about it in another thread, ty. However, one thing I'm confused by is what will the difference between RuneQuest going forward and Mythras be?
  3. I don't know much about Mythras. It will replace RQ 6? Is this version (Imperative) like a stripped-down version? Will there be a more full release later?
  4. The Origins game fair begins here in Columbus, Ohio in 3 days. I know Chasium will not be there, which is a shame. = ( Would there be a chance any other exhibitors will have anything for CoC 7? I'm pretty sure it is a no but I thought I would check anyhow since it is in my back yard.
  5. I'd love to see a gothic horror book for CoC 7e. It would tell you how to adapt the game for classic gothic horror in the line of Stoker, Shelley, and, Edgar Allan Poe. I also would like to see a new Masks update. The era I want to see updated for CoC is gaslight. I love the 1800's victorian era and think it is a wonderful period for horror gaming.
  6. I am interested in Cthulhu By Gaslight and Masks of Nyarlahotep. Will these get 7th edition versions or are we going to leave them as-is?
  7. I now have the first adventure for A Time to Harvest. Are there any more at this point and if so, how do I get them? I'm going to send an email to Dustin right now to see if that helps.
  8. I did indeed sign up for the email group and I was able to download the month 1 part. No idea if there are any others I am missing at this point.
  9. Is that the Cult of Chaos? If so, I just signed up for it. I just need to know where to get the adventures that have been released so far.
  10. On a side tangent....is the Call of Cthulhu organized play stuff available to sign up for yet? I really want to get into this for 7e.
  11. Sweet, ty. Will there be hardcover slipcase editions available too? I live in Columbus, Ohio right near the Origins game fair. Will Chaosium be at Origins? If so, whill CoC 7e be available there?
  12. So the earliest I could get hard copies is July? Will this game be at GenCon for sale?
  13. I never was into CoC in my long, storied RPG career. = ) I have friends though that are big fans and I finally started taking a look at it now that 7e has hit but I missed the Kickstarter. What is the best/quickest way for me to try to find print copies of the books? GenCon? Preorder somewhere? And also, will they likely include the set in the slipcase? The slipcase with the 2 books and GM screen looks really nice.
  14. Is anyone playing this online? I love the game and would love to play. I could probably get some friends I game online with to join too.
  15. I wish someone would make a sourcebook for BRP/RuneQuest/OpenQuest that focuses on the Spartans and their allies/enemies.
  16. Does anyone know of a sourcebook or anything to play a Spartan centered game for BRP or RuneQuest or OpenQuest? I would love to play in a Spartan campaign.
  17. What is the current status on After the Vampire Wars please?
  18. I've been looking to get into an online group for this game for months. Do you all want to still make this happen?
  19. If I wanted to use the BRP big gold book to run a game for its equipment and options but have OpenQuest as the underlying rules engine how would I go about doing this the best way? I'm thinking of how characters are made in BRP vs. OpenQuest and what I'd have to do to make this all work. Any suggestions? (I copied this from a post I found interesting over at RPG.net).

  21. Does this tome contain the massive amount of errors found in the MRQII Arms and Equipment book?
  22. I have the Savage North and have been reading through the OpenQuest core rulebook. After looking through The Savage North it seems abundantly clear it is heavily based on Robert E. Howard Conan-esque sword & sorcery. I am starting a campaign Thursday for OQ and decided to run one of the intro adventures from the core rulebook to start things out and get us used to the rules, etc. However, the OQ core rulebook makes it clear The Savage North is part of the Empire of Gatan setting as well. The Empire of Gatan seems to be very high fantasy in style, which kind of conflicts with the sword & sorcery style of The Savage North. Anyone else see this as kind of confusing/odd? My players I think will be put off by it.
  23. Thanks for the official response, Newt! I sincerely appreciate it.
