  1. Drunk Tabletop continues! On August 20, 2015, we played a continuation of the one-shot using the BRP rules. The catch - everyone got pretty drunk before the game and during character creation and remained so during the game. The game takes place present day near Boone, N.C., as the characters are fleeing from a terrible attack on King Street. The role-playing journal for the session is here: http://www.penandpapergames.com/forums/entry.php/1948-Basic-Roleplaying-System-Deadworld-Session-Two-(Drunk-Game) No video for this game. Players were: James Brown as Jorman Flanagan (assassin) Kyle Matheson as Jaiawan Jayshawn Skadooter (athlete) Nissa Campbell as Sofia Rosita Mariana Fernando Vasquez II Jr. (thief) Joey Scott as Floyd Wayne (gravedigger)
  2. Thanks Trifletraxor. Th3pooka is pretty fun and, playing a radio personality, his silliness actually made a kind of crazy sense. I ran the second half of another one-shot for my Call of Cthulhu group, this one taking place in the State of Rhode Island in 1778, during the American Revolution. "Madness or Death: The Nickerbocker's Tale" sees characters investigating a local landowner who might be a loyalist and working with the British holding nearby Newport. Is the man guilty, or is something more sinister going on? The role-playing journals for the session are here: www.yog-sothoth.com/blog/172/entry-2904-madness-or-death-the-nickerbockers-tale-part-2-1-new-help/ www.yog-sothoth.com/blog/172/entry-2903-madness-or-death-the-nickerbockers-tale-part-2-2-break-in/ Additionally, a playlist of eight videos of the game session can be found here: www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLonZ7fuFAFDoJ72LqUY6F3_8G0ULNSFo- Players were: Kimber Nissa Campbell as Private Emory North (soldier) David Sabbagh as Rutherford Richards (apothecary) Kyle Matheson as Mason Westmoore (criminal) Seikotash as Father Edward Teach IV (clergyman) Kaitlyn Poole as Jacob Moore (lawyer) Tabitha Jean Harris as Aladar Calhoun (constable)
  3. I continued the one-shot Call of Cthulhu game over Skype for some friends who really wanted to play. It was kind of an experiment as I'd never run a game online before. We played "The Last Voyage of the Ivory Pride," a scenario I found online and printed out years ago (and I don't think is available anymore) and we finished the scenario in the second session. Can the passengers and crew of the Ivory Pride survive the horrors awaiting them? The role-playing journal of the session is here: http://www.yog-sothoth.com/blog/172/entry-2898-the-last-voyage-of-the-ivory-pride-session-two-skype-game-part-1-terrifying-developments/ http://www.yog-sothoth.com/blog/172/entry-2897-the-last-voyage-of-the-ivory-pride-session-two-skype-game-part-2-the-end/ This one was not video recorded. Players were: Timothy Smith (Virii) as James Walker (con man) Jeff LaForest as Raymond Coyt (radio announcer) D.J. Stevenson as Anton Bogdan (undertaker) Lily Williams as Elliot Strong (big game hunter)

We played "The Last Voyage of the Ivory Pride," a scenario I found online and printed out years ago (and I don't think is available anymore) and didn't finish so we have to figure out when the next session will be. 24. Well, she has caused several deaths (or her demons have) in the last few weeks (including two dead priests trying to stop the horrors she conjures up). To be quite honest, the church has some rather strict policies on demons ...
  25. Star Trek - Movie era (Wrath of Khan, Search for Spock, etc.). I ran two sessions of a campaign set in this era using Star Trek: The Role Playing Game but my players were not terribly interested in the setting so it fizzled out. I love the ships and the uniforms and the feel of those movies.
