I saw this one several weeks back and came away pleasantly surprised! Nicolas Cage is really in a support role in this one, with the family's kids taking center stage. Not a perfect film, but they did a great job of focusing on The Weird rather than giving it a monster-of-the-week vibe.

Maybe I'll check it out then:)

Hi! Discovering your videos, and must say they're quite great!!

Just one thing about this one: I would add a 6th thing, above all others, both for roleplayers and gamemasters: good humour, and (especially for GMs) the will to provide a good time for everybody at the table. It certainly looks like a cliché, but I saw two many people forget this principle, so I think it's always useful (unfortunately) to repeat it...

I'm taking advantage to congratulate you for the good job! Keep going on!

I have recieved numerous comments on these videos which lead me to eventually make a part 2 for both these videos. I'm glad you like them:)

Have you ever seen Nick Case “act"? If you answer yes, odds are very good that you have then see Nick Cage’s “acting” in this unfortunate movie. I have not seem this movie, but unfortunately, I have seen Francis Ford Coppola’s nephew “acting”.

I have seen his so called acting, and as an actor I must agree he's a trifle, well you know:)

But I was just hoping against hope that a mainstream Lovecraft movie did the genre justice.

Au contraire M. Meints. If you will pardon the humour in a very serious thread (In my defence, I will point out the date) one might say, beware the litigious City of Chicago... As one of my fave bands, the Chicago Transit Authority, er Chicago, might well attest!

Ah Bill, you seem like the kind of guy who waits all year long for April 1st:)

I'm not original, I voted for mystery ^^

So did I, although I will run any of these. Often the best games evolve from one of the players being a hidden antagonist:)

  6. There were a couple areas I was slightly confused on as well, once you started talking about the in game scenario and expanding upon it, but I'm pretty sure this just has to do with my general ignorance of Glorathan lore.

    But what about King Frog?
I am going to wear my aluminium cap right now, seems safer! ^_^

King frog is a wonderful game about a bunch of frogs trying to become king by ruthless domination. They have mosquito slaves.

And they are coming to get you...
