That the King of the West had "rebelled against the gods" can be taken in varied ways, but could represent the King of Loskalm adopting the ways and practices of the Kingdom of War. However the King of the West is also shown in the Black Dragon Mountain Pictographs (Glyph 15 - Guide p748)) as carrying a sword, a woodsmans axe, casting a spell and copulating with the snake goddess which suggests a Hrestoli rather than a King of War.

But that's the Seshnelan king with Seshna Lakita, not the King of Loskalm, who gains the Serpent Crown. Glyph 16 indicates the Serpent Crowned king dispersing the Arkats (i.e. invading Ralios), before being killed by Ardinyar Kocholangsson, King of Ralios (also noted on p.742) who brought the Storm Dragon. From Meriatus other description it seems his experimental heroquesting got rather god learnerish.

The Serpent Crown is received from Three Kingdoms according to the description. And the disparate headgear of the offerers supports this. The extremely tall hat suggests a Brithini so Arolanit was probably one of the three. Seshnela undoubtedly was another due to the serpent crown. Since the third is wearing a helmet, suggesting a knight rather than a wizard which indicates Loskalm (I don't think Castle Coast or Wagapi qualify to be recognised as kingdoms by Cragspider). The presence of the Stone Men suggests the backing of Nida. In addition if the Hrestoli King did not rule over Loskalm we would have a curiousity in that the Black Dragon Mountain pictographs went so far as to describe what was happening in Jrustela but not what was happening in Fronela. From the Guide p.424 we know that Guilmarn will conquer and unite Nolos and Pasos. Those might be considered one or two of the Three Kingdoms. It does note that attention is then turned towards Ralios and Fronela, but only notes invasion of Ralios where he runs into the Arkats. The only reference in regards to Fronela otherwise seems to be the Takenegi Stele where the Red Emperor reaches Sog/Akem.

It was actually the product that followed the Guide (along with the King of Sartar reprint). You can use it to play from just before the point of the Guide to the point at which RQG is set. So there is product that straddles this 'gap'.
