g33k
I thought I remembered a rule wherein you had your INT as a worst-chance case of improving a skill? That is, if your INT is 14, any roll of 87-00 (the top 14% of the d100 improvement check) was a success, and your skill improved. But I cannot find this in the RQG core. So... am I just recalling another variant of BRP? An earlier (now errata'ed) draft of RQG? A mere "House Rule"???!? I don't ever recall seeing this in RQ, whether RQG, RQ2, or RQ3. Sounds like a BRP variant or house rule.

When a character starts to reach the 90-95% area, the following special rule may become relevant: a character’s % chance of learning from experience (the number his player must roll or less on D100) can never be less than his INT. 2 Quote Chaos stalks my world, but she's a big girl and can take of herself.
