Having played through Loki's Gift, the 1890's Gaslight scenario in our new hardback release Cults of Cthulhu, the award-winning team from the Stream of Chaos has now finished playing 'Angel's Thirst'. This is the classic 1920's scenario in Cults of Cthulhu, one of the three adventures included. Keeper James takes them through five deadly episodes at Chaosium's YouTube channel: Cults of Cthulhu is available now from Chaosium.com: $USD49.99, price includes PDF. Keeper James (one of the co-authors of the book) then catapults the investigators into a conspiracy during the The Terror itself, where they must find a way to stop a nightmare that would plunge France and the rest of Europe into darkness. Watch all 11 episodes at Chaosium's YouTube channel: Reign of Terror is an epic two-part historical scenario, set during the French Revolution. Five kids dare to spend the night in haunted estate. Will they survive to see the sunrise, or will they succumb to the hunger of Howling House? Showrunner Cat Blackard says, "The Call of Cthulhu Mystery Program debuted in 2015 as a miniseries - an experiment in melding live actual play with modern audio drama. It was a surprise hit, and in 2018 was relaunched as an on-going production, released in seasons. 18. Today we celebrate the release of the 1000th title in the Miskatonic Repository, Chaosium's community content platform for independent Call of Cthulhu creators at DriveThruRPG! Chaosium vice president Michael O'Brien said, "We congratulate the hundreds of creators involved in reaching this significant milestone, many of whom got their first experience of publishing a TTRPG title in the Miskatonic Repository. They are now part of a thriving and supportive Call of Cthulhu creator community, producing works of amazing variety, set in mysterious locations all over the world and in time periods from Ancient Egypt to the far future. We encourage Call of Cthulhu fans to check out everything on offer in the Miskatonic Repository, and if they have an itch to create something themselves, our community is ready to help!" Chaosium has helped foster new Call of Cthulhu creators through initiatives including the appointment of Community Ambassadors Nick Brooke, Allan Carey and Bridgett Jeffries; by working with the Storytelling Collective to develop a dedicated Call of Cthulhu stream for their 'Write Your First Adventure' workshop series; and by sponsoring Miskatonic Repository Con. The #MiskatonicMonday posts at the Chaosium news blog also promote new releases in the Miskatonic Repository on a regular basis. "We know Miskatonic Repository titles are popular with fans because they invariably feature in the Top Ten of DriveThruRPG's Top Selling Community Content list, and sometimes even at the top of the bestselling list for the entire DriveThruRPG site itself." said O'Brien. And the thousandth title itself? That is The Strange Case of Anthony Hanson, a scenario set in the modern day by Leopoldo Rueda. Also, do check out Leopoldo's previous Miskatonic Repository release, Horror at the Westmore Hotel – a Silver bestseller, and also available in Spanish. 19. Back in the 1980s, Citadel's RuneQuest minies were imported into the US under the Trollkin Forge brand. But Chaosium president and super-collector Rick Meints was never sure how big the range was, as he'd never seen any sort of Trollkin Forge catalog or product list for the line. That is until today, as he describes in his latest 'Out of the Suitcase' post: https://www.chaosium.com/blogout-of-the-suitcase-34-reforging-friendships-by-chance

  21. Thank you for including the Commonwealth in your remarks. Whether people are sad or not, most of the commentary is ignoring or breezes past the fact the Her Majesty The Queen of Australia/Canada/Papua New Guinea/New Zealand/Antigua and Barbuda etc has also died. [It’s weird enough we have a new “King of Australia” but the Australian Constitution recognises Her Majesty’s heirs and successors so things just carry on as normal. However, no one until now has noticed that the State of Victoria (where all of the Chaosium team in Australia live) has a weird loophole, where everyone here needs to swear a new Oath of Loyalty. Time for the Republic of Victoria I say!]
