MOB Posted April 20, 2024 Posted April 20, 2024 (edited) Out now: Rivers of London: Going Underground is a stand-alone scenario for Rivers of London: the Roleplaying Game based on the novels by Ben Aaronovitch. A new case for the Folly London, 2016: There’s been an incident on the London Underground and the specialist services of the magic branch of the police force are required—what exactly did a terrified workman see in one of the Tube’s most difficult to access “ghost” stations? And, more importantly, what are the investigators going to do about it? Winner of the 2023 Silver ENNIE for Best Rules and nominee for Product of the Year, the critically acclaimed Rivers of London RPG contains everything you need to start exploring Ben Aaronovitch's magical version of London. Going Underground is designed to be played as a follow on scenario to “The Bookshop” case file from the Rivers of London core rulebook. It also serves an ideal introductory case file for new players. stadi Posted April 21, 2024 Posted April 21, 2024 What is the reason that you are not selling it directly and went the DriveThruRPG route? Both The Shadow Over Providence and Scritch Scratch (similar page count) you are selling directly. Quote

This is a digital and print-on-demand pre-release of the Rivers of London case file Going Underground. At some point (“next year,” I’m told) it will be included in a collection of Rivers of London case files (etc.) which will be released as a normal Chaosium printed book through the usual distribution channels. It will be available on the Chaosium website in print soon too; we needed physical copies for Chaosium Con in Ann Arbor and DTRPG is the fastest way to get that done. HTH. Hmmm. This is maybe a corner-case question; but it's a real one, not a "hypothetical." It may need some pondering in the corporate Hellshalls, or a meditative retreat to the Underworld, to figure the answer... If we buy the Going Underground PDF directly from Chaosium, would we be able to get a discount coupon to apply to the later collection of case-files? TYVM! Quote C'es ne pas un .sig

That doesn't need any pondering at all, the answer is no; if we did a later collection of case files as a book that would be an entirely different product. 1 Quote
