Sean_RDP
The bottom one has a bit of an Earthdawn feel to it, which is not a bad thing at all. 2 Quote Its 2300hrs, do you know where your super dreadnoughts are? http://reigndragonpressblog.blogspot.com/
Yelm's Light
Ah yes, the ever-popular 'Hook 'em Horns' casting position.
g33k
I like both, but FWIW the "golden lightning" in the 2nd one comes off wrong to my sensibilities: I would prefer to see it in a vivid white-blue, and as a light-source, illuminating the figure: surrounded by lightning this way, she should be brightly-lit all over. I like art that is story-telling, and this one surely is! She has called upon Thunderbird, and the lightning is present; the ceremony is over (hence the mask being off) and she's getting down to business, with Thunderbird at her back and lightning all around her... The piece is evocative, but honestly the non-white non-illuminating "lightning" just hits the wrong visual cues. YMMV (and obviously does).
