Chaos is chaos. There has probably been an entity both sentient and not that has existed for every conceivable and inconceivable form. As stated above perhaps a child or servant of genert. Maybe a race descendent of asrelia or even try kora tek turnes to chaos after being sidelined after the green age and golden age ended. Maybe a snake was tainted by chaos and turned into the snake version of that lunar demon bat. Thier is a plethora of ways to introduce a snake chaos entity with or without a connection to a earth diety

why hasnt the empire actually done this for when they dont need to terrorize anyone, or is the empire just always needing to send a message

So we know the cult breakdowns of several cultures, but how many people initiate into multiple cults I doubt there's a list of specifics like how many engizi/orlanth or ernalda/chalana arroy but how often would you find a person in glorantha who is a member of multiple cults in general

Shouldn't we take skills into account certain cults can shine for this reason. Engizi for example has boating, speak boatspeech, and swim which can be used to help cross any river. I was apart a game where we players decided to take the longer walking route rather than the quicker route by boat because none of us had boat and didn't trust the skills of a random boatsman to lug heavily armed warriors, nobles, ect down the river for a week and risk drowning cause nobody knows how to swim all that well In truth I don't think worst is a good word for any cult. There are great cults for sure but not worst cults. Specialist may be a better term.

didn't mean to imply as such. a race that flys everywhere and is so orientated to the element of air doesn't seem like a race that would care for a goddess like ernalda. I was trying to say is if the wind children know of ernalda its "as that goddess who rules the dirt we land on when dealing with ground dwellers."

So i had another question regarding wind children that doesn't warrant a separate thread. the Wind children worship Orlanth so do they in any way worship his wife Ernalda. it says in the Bestiary they ignore Orlanth's warrior and leadership aspects, do the wind children ignore Ernalda's earth goddess aspect and worship her as a goddess of childbearing since her goddess of the earth doesn't play into their lifestyle as much as a walking only race would. do they even worship her?

For example how would the view of an uroxi in sartar differ from an uroxi in esrolia and a storm bull khan in prax when they look to Thier gods deeds what do they emphasize differently from one another? Do Thier rituals differ? ( I imagine this is going to be a rather long form answer and debate posting) (Another question will this be answered in the upcoming gods book)

So as you adventure you may go to other lands such as tarsh, Prax esrolia ect and you being an adventurer go to the local temple to your god to give due worship, but these are strange foreign people who while worshiping the same gods as you probably do so in a different way or view your god from a different perspective so I have to ask how do the various homelands view various gods. To start I'd like to know how orlanth, ernalda, storm bull, daka fal are viewed/ worshipped in esrolia and prax in contrast to sartar. However don't confine this thread to just those gods feel free to say what you know or even theorize on possible differences across the entire breadth of the cube.

is that wind lord casting Thunderbolt or Summon large air elemental. Should our own magicians be casting dismiss large elemental ( having an Orlanthi cousin can come in handy) or focus on magical shielding to protect from divine lightning. The ability to identify the specific spell casting practices for other cults and spells is probably a rather important skills on the battlefield, although it is made easier for the cults with the spirit spell Farsee.

true. reason I made the assumption is that sartar had a large enough elmali population to become the sun dome. because many sartarite clans came from heortland I assumed heortland would have a similar amount of elamali that would later become yelmalians.

Jeff posted that even at 1% of the population Esrolia would still have 10,000 Followers of Yelmalio. although im assuming heortland has a similar percantage

Where in Heortland might one find a small Yelmalian Sun Dome if esrolia has 10,000 than there's at least a few thousand yelmalians in heortland

Realized a great question. When would the Yelmalio Cult have reached Heortland and Esrolia and converted the local Elmali

What exactly is the line when is something cruelty and selfishness and when is something chaos. Is this even a line or is it a blurry image? Gargathi tortures people to create whirlveshes but they aren't chaos so when is something chaos?

Wouldn't be surprising if the yelmalio cultists were concentrated in and around a specific city

So the Elmal cult became the Yelmalio cult in sartar with the revelations of Monrogh but did these changes extend to heortland and esrolia? Is Elmal still going strong in Heortland or is there minor yelmalio sun domes we just don't hear about (Edit: corrected Heartland to Heortland)

Maybe moon is just any mixing of the elements with air just being able to make itself a separate thing through some means

I've decided to have my adventurers leave sartar and go to the coasts of esrolia or heartland. While thinking up a villain I realized I haven't heard of a chaos water deity or even any chaos gods who took a swim I take it there are and we either haven't heard of them or that I simply haven't come across them yet.

All they do is talk, do they even breathe. It's pathos this logos that and other multi syllable words I don't understand for ones own sanity philosophers need to be offloaded as quickly as possible.
