  8. This is the second episode of Encounter Roleplay's play-through of the new Peru chapter of MASKS OF NYARLATHOTEP. You can also catch episode 1 and episode zero (setting up the characters) on the Encounter Roleplay YouTube channel.
  9. A new puppy meant Max Writer missed Free RPG Day this year. But our 2018 offering, Lynne Hardy's SCRITCH SCRATCH, is available POD. So Max ordered it, and filmed this unboxing video. —If you want to order it yourself, here's the link: http://bit.ly/2NKNWV3 —or download free Scritch Scratch PDF here: http://bit.ly/2tNtnvb
  10. We'll start on this some time next year, after the core books are out in print. That's exactly what the Miskatonic Repository is for Call of Cthulhu, and we'll be doing something similar for RuneQuest/Glorantha (name TBD).
  11. The box proofs for the new Call of Cthulhu Starter Set just arrived at Chaosium HQ - fits in beautifully on the shelf with other Chaosium classics. The Call of Cthulhu Starter Set will be out in about six weeks!
  12. After playing through the adventure, Seth Skorkowsky reviews The Idol of Thoth, one of the many excellent Call of Cthulhu community content creations on The Misktatonic Repository at DTRPG.

  15. This thread has now run its course. As noted earlier, Chaosium's position on this is sympathy for the unfortunate situation the original poster found himself in at work; however, the art in RQG doesn't need to change, and the art is not going to change.
  16. That shipping price for UK is correct. We hate the high costs of shipping, we make no money from it, and we are always looking for the best options. We have invested a lot of time and money setting up three fulfilment warehouses that decently cover about 85% of our main customers, something that was not easy for a company our size. Please bear in the mind compared to the Royal Mail price quoted, we have to include processing the order, picking and packing via the fulfillment company, a suitably robust shipping box, packing material etc. All expenses that are factored into the shipping cost beyond just the price of postage.
  17. If the postcode doesn't fit the format for the particular country, it defaults to US-International. For the UK, that's LETTER LETTER NUMERAL NUMERAL NUMERAL LETTER LETTER eg RG13YL. Also works with LETTER LETTER NUMERAL [SPACE] NUMERAL NUMERAL LETTER LETTER eg RG1 3YL
  18. The boffins at MIT have built an artificially intelligent "Nightmare Machine", which generates horror imagery using deep learning algorithms. And they need you to help teach it what is terrifying... #nightmarefuel http://nightmare.mit.edu/
  19. Due to unprecedented demand, we are now out of stock of the RuneQuest Leatherette edition in the UK and Australian warehouses. Leatherette still available from our US warehouse. But there are plenty of copies of the RQG hardback in all three locations! 448 pages, full color hardback. PDF included. https://www.chaosium.com/runequest-roleplaying-in-glorantha-hardcover
  20. If you have a 3D Printer, 2D6.IO has created free print yourself props for the new Peru chapter of Masks of Nyarlathotep! They're also planning 3D printable props for all other artefacts in the campaign as their gaming group approaches each chapter. We're looking forward to what they come up with! https://www.2d6.io/home/call-of-cthulhu-masks-of-nyarlathotep-peru-props
  21. Trying putting a space between the first three digits and the last two in the Swedish postcode. If that still doesn't work, contact Dustin - customerservice@chaosium.com.
  22. Please note, we have decided we are going to close this thread on at 11.59pm EDT on Sunday, September 23rd, a little earlier than originally announced. We'll then review the thread and make any necessary changes to the files before sending to print. Many thanks!
  23. Here's Part One of MASKS OF NYARLATHOTEP Call of Cthulhu actual play, by our friends Encounter Roleplay. They are running through the new introductory prologue chapter, set in Peru. Streamed live on Twitch TV each Wednesday at 1pm EDT, and then later on Youtube. (Spoilers, obviously).
  24. RUNEQUEST was not the only "Quest" first launched in 1978 - that's when husband and wife team Richard and Wendy Pini turned the genre of fantasy comics on its head with the creation of ElfQuest. Later, Chaosium published the tabletop RPG of their creation, now long out-of-print but still fondly remembered.http://scoop.previewsworld.com/Home/4/1/73/1013?articleID=218805
