  3. Brought over the unofficial thread started earlier. We appreciate everyone's enthusiasm to help with tribal editing but for admin purposes we need the responses to be in a thread started by a moderator. ___ Page 13 To start the ball rolling Troll height page 73 (and SIZ page 75). Unless the Guide is no longer canon the males should be an average 10cm taller and their SIZ should be 3D6+8. Females should be 10cm taller too. This will keep the male SIZ as used in RQ3, their height consistent with both old and more recent depictions of trolls, it also will be consistent with the RQ:G size chart, and it won't rubish the GtG. Also Kyger Litor page 80 also has the Spirit Rune in the GtG. Seems she doesn't have three Runes whilst the tusker rider god does ___ Map key says "Ducks (Darulz)", should be Durulz ___ The duck distribution map only shows them in DP, not the Holy Country or southern Maniria. The GtG has respective pops of 10K, 20K, and an unspecified small number. ___ Page 28, Baboon characteristics: DEX is listed as 3D6+6 but the average is listed as 13. Page 57, Dwarf armor. "The dwarf has a 70% [chance] of being unaffected by any spell cast at them." The word 'chance' is missing. ___ Description of True Dragons on p117, "The best-known Kralorelan True Dragons are:" - Should there be spacing used to separate out the text from the section above on the Four true dragons of DragonPass? When you read/scan "The four True Dragons of Dragon Pass are", it looks as though there are many more then four types mentioned. Closer inspection reveals the division, but spacing would help.
  4. With the release of the RuneQuest Glorantha Bestiary on PDF, this thread is to catch any typos or errors spotted. Please note them here, quoting the page number, the error, and the suggested correction. Many thanks.
  5. It was a long, long time ago that I did the art direction for that cover. But I do remember stuffing a large envelope* with about 30 or more pages of photocopies and sketches and detailed commentary for the composition to send to Roger Raupp. *yes, kids, this was in the days before email. I think after the initial snail mail we then sent preliminary sketches and notes back and forth by fax - remember those?
  6. MetaArcade have launched the next chapter in the "Investigations in Lovecraft Country" series of linked adventures for CTHULHU CHRONICLES – an original scenario called The Good Professor. The Good Professor builds on everything you have experienced so far in Cthulhu Chronicles; tensions are rising, and your decision-making skills will be put to the test. Like all others, this scenario is available for 20 tickets, or you can play it for free using one of your trials. Available at the iOS App Store. Cthulhu Chronicles is currently available on iOS. MetaArcade have confirmed an Android version is their highest priority post-launch.

  9. Now that the container ships delivering 13G are starting to arrive in ports, Rob and Jonathan took a short video to show off a few pages of their special air-shipped advance copy. View the video at the link: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/416625372/13th-age-in-glorantha/posts/2237618 [NB - the video cuts off mid-pageflip for one of two reasons: 1) The Puppeteer Troupe didn't want to be upstaged by discussion of the Humakt and the Sword of Life myth brought into the book by Pitch-a-Myth backer and contributing writer Reinier Dobbelmann, a myth that Jonathan turned into a playable heroquest that erupts over and over throughout a Humakti's career; OR 2) Because Rob had been too long-winded...]
  10. Runemasters is a new Chaosium sponsored GM collective, formed to bring Gaming in Glorantha back to the Continuum Convention in Leicester. Ten GMs will be running 16 Gloranthan games between opening and closing ceremony. Initially formed in response to the perceived lack of Gloranthan Gaming at the Continuum 2016 Convention, it is hoped, if successful, to expand the programme to other conventions. 12. A very enjoyable discussion, thanks Dirk!
  13. Three years ago Greg Stafford and Sandy Petersen returned to Chaosium, bringing the team from Moon Design Publications on as co-owners and managers of the company. Since then it's been an amazing journey: putting the company back on its feet, getting out the Call of Cthulhu 7th Edition Kickstarter, and relaunching our board games and fiction lines, and the new RuneQuest, while sorting out many, many problems and doing our best to rectify and repair past mistakes (Geek & Sundry tells a lot of the tale here). Most important throughout all of this has been reconnecting and re-engaging with Chaosium's many loyal and forbearing fans. We couldn't have got to where we currently are without you. This is what Chaosium President Rick Meints has said: "We at the Chaosium have overhauled all manner of things within the company over the last 3 years. In some respects, almost everything. "We have seriously and intentionally 'upped' our game. Our books are now all full color hardcover books. We pay more attention to art, editing, and layout. We have tried to communicate and connect more with the RPG community, which is our family. We listen. We respond. We pay our creatives on time and in full. We reach out to our critics and try to understand what they are telling us. We make mistakes. We are not perfect. We strive to have fun. We have always invested ourselves in our games, as many of you have. In the end, we only wish we had more time to talk with you all more." We are a small company - much smaller than many people might think (we have three full-time employees, along with Rick, Jeff and MOB as co-owners. Not even our COO Neil is FT.) But we have an amazing team of part-timers, freelancers and contractors working together with us creating games and books that seek to captivate mythic adventurers worldwide. Whatever our role in the company, we are all conscious we are carrying on the tradition of innovation and creativity that Greg Stafford started when he founded The Chaosium in 1975. Chaosium is one of the choices for FAN FAVOURITE PUBLISHER in the 2018 ENnie Awards. We hope you might give us consideration, and vote for the other categories Chaosium has been nominated in too. As Worldbuilders supports Heifer International we have donated a very special and appropriate gift for the swag bags for everyone who participates. This is a great event for a wonderful cause!
