My favourites have been the Cult books as well as the new Pavis: Pathway to Adventure book. As much as people like Sartar, I have a soft spot in my heart for Pavis so anything to do with it is always a favourite.

Are you just picking up books to read or are you looking to game within Glorantha?

There is that but even forged bronze weapons can take a fair bit of damage. I'm more concerned that players will look at those rules and judge tht blocking isn't worth the effort

I had the same general issue. It seems as if weapons are going to break quickly unless you get good at parrying attacks.

So I joined the Cult but really so I would be in a position to officially run RuneQuest and, hopefully, HeroQuest sessions. The confirmation email I got had some links to the A Time to Harvest campaign materials and so I grabbed the first one and started reading it to see what it was like. Despite not being a CoC fan I was really quite impressed with the scenario and I am now thinking of running the campaign at my FLGS. Not having the full current rules (I have the QRS) would I be able to run the campaign (or at least start it) with the material in the QRS or will it require the full rules?

Has there been any work done to fix the bookmarks in the PDF?

I was planning on running this but sadly the 17th is also the date that Games Workshop is releasing the 8th edition of Warhammer 40K so the store is booked solid. I will be running it at the store but I haven't got a date set for it yet.

Well if you want to appeal to a new generation of gamers you need to use the visual language they are familiar with. :-)

Then Chaosium should get their own forums.

A few suggestions 1) The forum controls are in the upper right of the forum layout and on the default theme they are difficult to see (see attached image). They aren't optimally styled on any of the themes IMO. Perhaps tweak the CSS a bit to add a background to the control area so it stands out more? 2) Branding the forums as BRP Central is odd given the focus of the forums and also the recent business decisions around BRP. Maybe give the forums a different name but keep the domain name? The domain is irrelevant really but calling the forums something that reflects the broad nature of the forums might be handy. 3) The Glorantha section might need some subsections for the various rulesets that are used for the game. 13th Age, Heroquest and Runequest (whichever edition) will all have some very specific questions for each game.
