  1. Yes, these are the text passages, that I was referencing to. So the only remaining open question is still, if this concept is used officially in Runequest:Roleplaying in Glorantha. But if we do not get an official answer (hi, @Jeff😉) here in this thread, it could well be possible, that the answer could be found in the upcoming Starter Set (which, as far as I know, will include a guide to Jonstown and therefore a description of the Jonstown library, I guess).
  2. That triggers another question: for some reason I was under the impression, that the Alien Combination Machine is *not a unique* tool - very rare, yes, but not unique. Not sure, if I have read that somewhere, or if this is just my own imagination. According to the Sartar Companion, there is on in the Jonstown Library. According to Pavis:Gateway to Adventure there is another one in the Lhankor Mhy temple in Pavis. So if there has been another one in the Holy Country, that would be three already. But I may be wrong here ... Anyway once again I would like to know, what the official, canonical answer to this question is.
  3. I interpret this, that I should read these two books again (I really liked them, when I did it several years ago) for getting some hints regarding our current campaign ... 😉
  4. One of the concepts, that I really like in Heroquest:Glorantha, is the Alien Combination Machine, which made it possible to give the Orlanthi access to Sorcery, which normally is seen as corrupted and dangerous, and therefore has to be avoided. I think it would be a great explanation, why Lhankor Mhy sages in Runequest:Roleplaying in Glorantha are now able to use Sorcery, but so far this Alien Combination Machine has not been mentioned in any of the new Runequest books. It's clear, that I could use it in my Runequest games exactly for this, but I would like to know, what the official (i.e. canononical 😉 ) point of view would be regarding the Alien Combination Machine. Will it be introduced in later books? Has it been dropped completely? Anything in-between?
  5. So that means Sacred Time between 1626 and 1627, right? Or does it mean Sacred Time between 1627 and 1628?
  6. Wait, the Cinder Pits are an entry to hell? Which one? Or just an entry to the underworld.? Anyway, is this canon? Can you provide any source for this information?
  7. On Facebook @Jeffhas been asked, if episode 29 has been the campaign finale, and the answer was a clear 'nope' . Also the Twitch schedule shows a session entry for next Saturday. Both points are clear hints, that we have a break currently, but we still can expect more ...
  8. Done at last! Thanks to a current break in the session sequence of this campaign, I was able to catch up a bit sooner than expected. From now on I will add new entries for every new episode as soon as possible after they are available at YouTube.
  9. I had pictures of Captain America using his shield in defence as well as for attacking in my head immediately ...
  10. Session 4 of the White Bull Campaign (Chaosium's current Runequest House Campaign) on YouTube has Cwim in the battle between the Lunar Army and Argrath's army of Praxian nomads.
  11. Just realized, that the Spring Equinox is marked on two days in the Gloranthan Calendar, which is part of the Gamemaster Screen Pack for Runequest:Roleplaying in Glorantha: on day 30 (Waterday/Stasis Week) of Earth Season as well as on day 9 (Waterday/Fate Week) in Sacred Time. My understanding is, that the latter is correct. The former should be the Autumn Equinox, as far as I know. This error appears in the printed version of the calendar as well as in the latest version (1.01) of the PDF.
  12. Nearly done! Just completed Episode 22 - and thanks to @Stephen L I was able to complete the list up to Episode 28. So with Episode 29 being the latest incarnation of the White Bull Campaign the episode list above is nearly complete. I will update new episodes as soon as I catch up with the existing recordings ...
  13. Page 44 in which book?
  14. That means the color pages displaying the original front cover and back cover pages, right? I've just checked, and my PDF contains this pages already, but my printed version does not (except for some placeholder pages). So I am entitled now to request a corrected version? (Not important, just being curious.) By the way: the back cover page for the Scorpion Hall Solo-Adventure seems to be a bit misplaced (in the PDF at least); it follows directly after the front cover page of this adventure instead on the end.
  15. Even the current White Bull Campaign uses this approach: Fylchar and Simbal, two former followers of Wolfshead and Griselda (i.e. from the classic Big Rubble:The Deadly City), have become followers of Kulbrast One-Arm. They even talked about their former female boss, because they have parted with bad feelings, but they didn't mention any names, so I do not now, if Kulbrast is aware, who this former association was.
  16. But if you look at the myth about The Arming of Orlanth (Sartar:Kingdom of Heroes, The Book of Heortling Mythology😞 So at least at this point Humakt is the sword, and therefore he is Death.
  17. I think, that the Harvest Bride adventure, that @jajagappa mentioned, is a combination of the adventures Garhound Contest and Melisande's Hand from the RuneQuest III module Sun County - which is out of print. Therefore it is only available via ebay or similar shops.
  18. It's in Big Rubble:The Deadly City of the RuneQuest Classic series, but otherwise you're right ...
  19. I've decided to create a new topic for the promised episode list to make it easier accessible and more visible:
  20. After completing going through the first batch of ten sessions from the White Bull Campaign, I've decided to follow my promise and create a time table including short contents descriptions regarding the recorded sessions, that I've seen so far. I will update the above list while going through the remaining session recordings (which are already up to session 27, so there is still a long way to go ... 😉).

  22. Just wanted to add the following quote from Sartar:Kingdom of Heroes, p.333: It's not completely clear, if this is the same Alebard, but this oath could well be from the time of Starbrow's Rebellion or before, when Kangharl was not yet affiliated with the Lunars ...
  23. From Sartar:Kingdom of Heroes, p.278: (S:KoH uses 1618 ST as its reference year.) So this basically is the same information as found the the Adventure Book of the Gamemaster Screen Pack. Alebard is a member of the Wooden Sword. The Sartar:Companion contains more information on p.136: The battalion of Londra of Londros is the Wooden Sword.
