Questions about the subcult Orlanth Adventurous

RQG p. 285: Wandering priests of Orlanth Adventurous maintain two-wheeled carts drawn by oxen that hold ritual equipment, and special spiral tents provide ritual secrecy.

RQG p. 302: Wind Lords are the temporal leaders of the Orlanthi.

I thought that the Clan Chiefs were Chief Priests and both the spiritual and temporal leaders of the Orlanthi. So what's the position of the Wind Lords?

Do the wandering priests of Orlanth Adventurous and the Wind Lords work under the Tribal King who is also the High Priest, or under their Clan Chief?

And are the wandering priests Rune Priests who get spells from the Adventurous subcult, or God-Talkers?

Weird, that "temporal leader" thing doesn't seem to fit at all into the current interpretation of the Orlanthi. And from Tribal levels, it's Rex and not Adventurous that's the ruler cult anyway.

Clan chiefs become priests of Orlanth Rex. If they were rune levels before, that status may switch to the Rex subcult, at least while they remain in office.

Martial leaders (like most Rune Lords).

Perhaps some do in Sartar, others may just wander, offering their services to a Tribal King if asked. If they are wandering, they needn't be clan or tribe bound. That's certainly the case amongst the Praxians where the cult is inter-tribal.

You can join more than one subcult, temporary initiates to Orlanth Rex don't pay a point of POW, but like other Orlanth subcult's full members do, adding to their Orlanth rune point pool. Some subcults have subcults.

Whichever temple they are likely associated with or loyal to.
