OK.. I've ditched the Chinese names for some wushu skills (the original names will be in the mini-encyclopaedia).

Do the following sound OK, in English?

  • Death Touch
  • Paralysis Touch
  • Swoon Touch
  • Mutism Touch

The first three sound ok, they convey something of their intent. I'm not sure what the fourth is about though.

Mini-encyclopaedia?! Its gone from a long lexicon to a mini-encyclopaedia?! ;)

I'd say that Paralysing Touch sounds better than Paralysis Touch.

Mutism Touch? I'd say that I can probably work out what it means (it strikes you dumb) but it doesn't flow very well. Muting Touch doesn't sound any better, though, and I can't think of a better phrase.

Thanks. I'll use Paralysing Touch.

Yes, it strikes the opponent dumb. Dumbing Touch? Numbing Touch? Mute Key of the Remote? ;)

How about:

  • barbaric lightning cut
  • deceptive sage somersault
  • transcendent turtle advance
  • venerable monkey pose
  • no wind scare
  • running gecko frenzy
  • splendid eunuch charge
  • valorous buddha boxing
  • heavenly virgin sword
  • whirling panda strike
  • dreaded plum-blossom throw
