Or perhaps there is something much more 'real' about the statue than we realize... I wonder how many bearers were required to lug those huge statues through the Talastari hills? As with a number of the pictures, the descriptions don't quite seem to match the final product. The Bilini woman looks pleased with the white shirts and seems to be encouraging her husband to get more. The Bilini husband looks somewhat embarrassed. The Lakrene man looks more like a mercenary than a townsman, and seems rather skeptical of the whole proceeding (or perhaps just skeptical towards Varnarn of Elz Ast. I believe keeping the mismatching art direction for the Guide illustrations may not have been the best idea.
