Trifletraxor Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 From the latest R'lyeh Report: VOODOO VIRUS A Zombie Novel set in a devastated New York City after a pandemic sweeps the globe and brings society to its knees. (#6043, $14.95) September. Sounds like something for BRP doesn't it? SGL. Quote Ef plest master, this mighty fine grub! 116/420. High Priest.
Trifletraxor Posted September 27, 2008 Author Posted September 27, 2008 Gawgh! Me eyes read faster than me brain can process! It's a novel and not a supplement! SGL. Quote Ef plest master, this mighty fine grub! 116/420. High Priest.

NickMiddleton Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 'S ok, you can always MAKE it a supplement Plus William Jones (the author) works at Chaosium now and has also authored game supplements for them - Secrets of New York, Secrets of Morocco and the upcoming Pulp Cthulhu IIRC. Nick Quote
Publius Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Yes, looks good. It will be out in Mid-October according to Amazon... Quote
Dredj Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 There is Rise of the Dead Zombie Convention Round Chaosium Inc. How good is that product? Quote
cjbowser Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 Agreed! Does anyone know when Deadworld is coming out? It can't be that far away surely  Their blog states they are still planning to release at Wizard's World in 2009. It looks like they need some help, though. cjbowser Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 Thank you. You would think that a zombie-apocalypse scenario would be one of the easiest scenarios to pull off successfully. But that's not always so. Rise of the Dead seems to be a case in point. I guess I'll just have to keep waiting eagerly for Deadworld Blood Brothers and Blood Brother II both have zombie apocalypse scenarios by Ben Monroe. D.O.A. in Blood Brothers is better than D.O.A. II in Blood Brothers II, but they're both entertaining games to play. Quote Various RPGs I've worked on
Fergo113 Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 It looks like they need some help, though. Doesn't look primising does it I won't hold my breath then. Quote
Dredj Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 (edited) Doesn't look primising does it I won't hold my breath then. Someone just needs to buy this DEADWORLD Comic Collection CD and be knowledgeable of BRP Why wouldn't they be working more closely with the creators? Especially if it's just background material they need? Again, my ignorance of the rpg industry is going to shine through, but you'd think they would get better support from the people who created Deadworld, since the game will allow the fans to play in that world. Trifletraxor Posted October 2, 2008 Author Posted October 2, 2008 Well, I actually bought the CD some time ago, but haven't gotten around to read it. Reading comics on the computer wasn't really that much fun... SGL. Quote Ef plest master, this mighty fine grub! 116/420. High Priest.
