  1. This is really good. In particular I like how all the Common Rune Magic spells are on the sheet, that is a very good idea. I also like that the Skill Cat Mods calulation is on the sheet as well.

If this could be form-fillable, then you have my sword 😎

  2. Wow, this character sheet is excellent, it looks quite professional. I really like how it feels like an extension of the RQ3 character sheet (which has much more flavour than the RQ2 character sheet IMO). I will be using this sheet if the official RQG sheets don't feel familiar enough. Thanks for post, greatly appreciated!

  3. Wow, how did I overlook this? Excellent production for a fan doc, and some really great stuff here. Enjoyed the Haggard The Duck examples ( you are showing your age in reference to a certain mid 1980s gonzo character here lol). In regards to the rules themselves, it looks like a really good take on porting the concept over into RQ. If it's not covered in the next edition of RQ, then this document will certainly fill the gap!

Thanks for posting mate, its greatly appreciated :D

Still doubling downn on RQ 4? The deliberate attempt to label this line in a way as hard to follow for newcomers is entering the realm of parody. I suggest the edition after 4 be called Runequest 33 1/3 just to keep the theme going.

    Yes I agree. It's either RQ7 or CRQ4.

Either works well, but just RQ4 is wrong on many levels...

  5. I like how the Hit Location figure is a big feature, this has been a hallmark of RQ sheets I think.

Not bad for a test character sheet for CRQ4. I quite like it from a fan made perspective, but one would hope the official ones don't look quite as busy.

As an aside, the digital form-fillable CoC 7E sheet isn't too bad, as the Tallies (ie HP, MP, etc) are not written in tally form so this takes away alot of unnecessary clutter on the sheet, and the skill scores look okay. In contrast, the hand written version of the CoC 7E sheet do look far too hectic, especially if you try to record every skill score as three values (which I don't recommend)

I don't mind these CRQ4 sheets, and a slightly less busy version would do for the official sheets I think. The official character sheets since RQ3 have looked good, and this is a big feature of the game. The MRQ line of sheets looked a bit unfocused until DM brought out the RQ6 character sheets and I think it had a positive impact on the game itself.

However this fan made CRQ4 sheet looks good for a fun project, although I think you need to have more weapon spaces available on the first sheet if possible.

Sayerson I really like your enthusiasm and this sits nicely next to your RQ Classic Character Sheets.

    Thanks for posting!

  6. I totally enjoyed this issue with the sandbox of Swenstown, it's perfect for homebrewing. It's also great to see Glorantha done with RQ6 stats.

Thank you very much for posting this, really love your work Gianni

  7. I'm considering shifting my BRP games over from the classic BRP builds in RQ3 or BGB to the more recent systems, as I prefer the more recent skill structure, Hero Points, etc.

For my Fantasy games I will go with RQ6, but for my Pulp Adventure 20s/30s setting I'm thinking of updating from CoC 6E to Renaissance, I do like its skill structure and the way it handles Sanity.

Although these professions you have created in this file were intended for Legend, I suspect they will also port nicely over into Renaissance, given the similarities with the system. My only issue now is whether to port over the Stunts from BRP Bloodtide, or to use Legend's Heroic Abilities, and to port over your Pulp Abilities using that system.

It may be nice to see both Pulp Professions and Pulp Abilities in a single document one day, with imported artwork to add atmosphere, to lend a bit more of that  'Dirty 30s' flavour to your work.

In any case, thanks for posting these, you've done a good thing here!
