  1. The gun walks and uses a built in head cannon. FN .50. Mini Jolanti. FN= FLINT NAIL.
  2. Nilmegs! No one knows his caste as he wears an all encompasing leather suit. I suspect Licorice myself.
  3. So Goldfang's is also where you go to buy a Wildday's night special... Under the counter, hot, numbers filed off Mostali pistols. From the Gimp, the Mostali barman.
  4. Must be from the games I've played in. There's actually a picture of one by the main gate in the New Pavis book. In our games they were in the Big Rubble, Badside etc, just not in New Pavis. Some how it has become canon in my head
  5. There's a thread on one of the sites about just this. Will go search.
  6. Fantastic. My pc will be gambling on fighting fish.
  7. Pretty sure Morokanth are banned from Pavis, aren't they? Perhaps his awakened Herd man is the go between or the Herd Man is Biggs. He supplies the herd man snaggers for the grill too...
  8. Is Goldfang a vampire? There are rumours, and a ban on Humakti at the door. But that could be because of the general, harmonious fertility of the bar and the general boringness of those with the Death Rune.
  9. What happens to dead Lunars, especially those far from home? Are they traditionally burnt or buried back in the Empire? Do they continue to follow these practices elsewhere?
  10. A wiki is a good idea, though riffing off each other somewhere like here is the best part.

Lesney all the way. I was lucky and got my Dad's childhood collection.
  12. @Byll ... Master Map maker.
  13. I was thinking that it would be fun to come up with inhabitants etc for each/some of the buildings not covered in depth already in this great city of ours. Like the Goldfang thread I started. It would be a great resource for us all. Whatcha reckon?
  14. I am modelling Goldfang's somewhat on 1920's Berlin.

    Adari

Adari is built over several great natural cisterns. It was one of the reasons that the trade centre was set up there. A benevolent water spirit resides within the dark waters, revered by Trolls and Humans alike. Some say it was a product of a Dehori spirit and a local water Nymph, others via the magical meddling of Pavis' father. I think here are many madmen here, drawn by the magics of days gone by. Fallen shamans, Tada dreamers, Darkness seekers and Mushroom eaters. Perhaps the Issaries Temple has a local hero cult, which deals with Elves and Trolls.

    Adari

It's a mongrel mix of a town. First folk were blow ins and Traders keen to exploit the Troll market. There's local Troll Ball teams and magically enhanced Beetle speedway racing, both ground and air. Think Star Wars Tatooine pod racing but on beetles through the Troll canyons..

  18. Care to add what goes on, who the punters are?
  19. Pavis. R-87 Goldfang's Grotto. Riverside Inn. Known for unique entertainment. Goldfang is a male Baboon, who wears a Pelorian lady's bonnet and a different dress each night. The establishment puts on many a risqué show for it's punters and is a haunt of Duck courtesans, tailless Newtlings and buffed centaurs. The Gimp is a hooded Mostali, who serves skin curdling drinks to those that dare. What else goes down here? I have a pc who is about to take part in a backroom gambling match, the stakes or the game so far unknown. Have any of you ever visited?
  20. The lady is very pale, wonder where she is from?

    Adari

It's my favourite town in Glorantha. There was a write up in the third Tales of the Reaching moon. Argan Agrar worship is strong here and it occasionally fills with Sartarite refugees whose clans are strong in Darkness. Some say it was once called Tadari, and was the seat of the ancient hero. Those hatching plots to bring him back can be found here, skulking in the shadows. Weekly Trollkin fights are held. It's like a crazy Mad Max/Star Wars town for me.
  22. It was 50's pulp monster, I loved it.
