  1. Missle only. There were a number of published scenerios with NPC having Damage boosting on one or two arrows.
  2. The rules blur for this and I would say depend on how the locals view the spirit and how many worshipers there actually are.
  3. But, it does not have to be that way. RQG has made an attempt to inegrate to better to Glorantha. I would say it was a partial success. It is certainly less generic now.
  4. I would say an object associated with a certain cult could give benefits to Runes associated with that cult. Now the question was that object given or stolen?
  5. So you say. I still find it very useful when PCs want to train an animal to do specific tasks and in situations where an animal comes across a trap or something else. We would also not be having this conversation about if elementals could dodge or not. Basically, it would not have cost anything to leave the stat in IMO.
  6. No INT = no instincts. I understand that in this edition they complicated the matter a bit by getting rid off Fixed Int that all animals had in prior editions (a mistake in my opinion), but it still holds true.
  7. Then they should come with INT and CHA.
  8. No, they are elements given some form.
  9. Left over from prior editions where they had fixed intellegence. Normal elementals never had even that.
  10. Unless it actually has intellegence, it should not be able to dodge.. Casting protective spells on them is a smart thing to do, but be aware that some spells require touching. In our games, elementals were used primarially as torpedos. Fire and forget. With shades specifically, we would have people cast Darkwall and have shades move up behind them, or stay inside them and let the other side move through.
  11. What you present in a JC publication is not canonical. A diety by that name can certainly exist in your version of Glorantha and you can certainly present your vision as to what it is and what its cult, if it exists, looks like. (Note: I have done that.)
  12. Thanks. I need that. Have some content in this regard in the supplement I am working on. This gives me some ideas.
  13. I am looking to information of the interaction between Mostali and the First and Second Councils. If any sources come to mind please let me know.
  14. We are talking in societies were there is no caste mobility if your grandfather was a dronar, there is no chance you will be anything else
  15. So these can be considered as the "lost" zzaburi and are being returned to the caste. Are you basically saying that there are two types of zzaburi, that is capable of wielding sorcery (high zzaburi) and those who can not (low zzaburi)?
  16. In Rokari culture, and among other Malkioni with no inter cast mobility, what happens to zzaburi children who do not meet the minimum requirements to learn sorcery which is going to be more than half?
  17. If they can then yes. That was my original question.
  18. I would think that Talars would want their troops and servants to have some decent spells.
  19. Yes, but we are talking about the none sorcerer classes. To most these masses are not worthy of the pure magic.
  20. Jeff has recently posted that Malkioni, and I would say most Malkioni, use spirit magic. From whom do these people learn spirit spells? Can sorcerers teach spirit magic?
  21. I am greatful to RQG for all the new gaming material generated both from Chaosium and through JC.
  22. Yeah, but that is real life and our rule set is not a simulation of all things which occur in real life. Can't tell you how many times I been told that.
  23. Yeah, since they lost their INT stat in RQG that is the case. Not really sure if they should be subject to being Demoralized either.
  24. Where in the rules does it say you have to use the rules?
