It's a pity it's not available in the UK or EU webstore. I would gladly buy the book, but not with $55 shipping fee.

I also recall that it was on Chaosium fro the UK warehouse a couple of months ago, so you might keep an eye out there.

Of course you could then just wait until Chaosium runs out of them then re-sell on eBay or some other venue and likely recoup most of your loss, or even make a small profit.

And, as I just noticed this morning before ordering one, it's back in the US warehouse. Get 'em while they're hot!

Update: they do seem to be print-on-demand, as fulfillment seems to be from Bang Printing.

"Bang Printing" is (I think) also the Chaosium warehouse/fulfillment/shipping partner.

I bet @Dustin O'Chaosium is the right tag, here ... ?
Is the BGB softcover being POD'ed by Bang, or are they simply the warehouse/shipper?

The BGB in stock in the US was printed by Lightning Source as POD.

It is a good read, from a game point of view and from a nostalgic point of view as well!

I don't regret getting the BGB at all. I've already decided to implement one of the options in my RQG game: spending MP to re-roll or improve success levels. It has helped keep up player morale regarding an overly-long run of terrible, terrible rolls.
