flyingcircus
Is there any possibility of getting Magic World put out as a POD on Drivethrurpg with the pdf? I would love to see it again in print as a Hardcover even. Edited December 14, 2022 by flyingcircus
Ravenheart87
It's more likely for Chaosium to publish PoDs on Lulu, which I don't mind, considering my DriveThruRPG orders keep getting lost or arrive slowly since Brexit. Mitch G.
I'd also love to see this book reissued.
flyingcircus
I wouldn't mind it being redone and reissued either way but would like a Hardcover this time around.

RSDean
Is the errata available somewhere? I’m back to considering BRP fantasy options, and this one is still on the list. Errata would increase its chances …

Errata would increase its chances … To the best of my knowledge, no one at Chaosium ever prepared an errata for Magic World. It came out at a time when the company could not support it, and years later, when the new owners had to prioritize what lines to focus on, Magic World was a low priority due to never having really found its audience. I can't share sales figures with you, but IIRC it was the lowest-selling core rulebook Chaosium ever published, by a long shot. It has its charms, and I have used it many, many times for games, but as a company, it's hard to justify putting effort and money into the line based on that track record.

Unless of course the system would be used as an engine to power a new Stormbringer rpg with all the great production value Chaosium is now known for. Imagine that! Ben Monroe had an errata thread on this forum here in 2013, just after it was release: https://basicroleplaying.org/topic/2786-magic-world-errata-is-live/ and says most was incorporated into the book. There is a doc in that thread that has errata in it. 2 Quote ----- Search the Glorantha Resource Site: https://wellofdaliath.chaosium.com.
