Beorne
I think the beautiful PDF map of Dragon Pass Is a little too low on resolution, most of the small location names are totally unreadable. PhilHibbs
If you have MIG 3, open up the PDF and copy out the cover image.

Rodney Dangerduck
For some reason, the new hi-def version also works better with my PDF viewer (Sumatra). Good work Chaosium!

Good work Chaosium! Absolutely.. the original map was phasing in and out of reality in my reader.. reminded me of an episode of Star Trek where the transporter was low on dilithium crystals ..or The Cat in Red Dwarf asking what the rent in the space-time continuum was https://youtu.be/BLc5mvOGgxc?si=Rz-iy5XqD9Gd8WG5 3

No, I've pulled the image out and I use a combination of Paint Shop Pro 9, Paint.NET, and GIMP. Paint.NET is my compositing tool, as it has good memory management and is simple. Paint Shop Pro 9 is my general purpose image editing tool, for repairing around the edges of changes and general touch-up tasks. GIMP I use for text, as it can fit text to a curved path and convert to a selection area. Edited 9 hours ago by PhilHibbs

I've made my own tweaks to a jpg of the Northern Sartar map from the Starter Set using MS Paint (really old school) ... I think I'll stick to that should I need to tweak anything else. (Actually running games should be my priority and I am doing that next week so need to prepare for that rather than playing with maps!)
