seneschal
I know a lot of folks here don’t use miniatures in their games but this project was so cool I had to share it. Although the critter is intended for D&D I can totally see it attacking Cthulhu investigators. Made of toilet paper tubes and glue.
Valyar
Reminds me of the dholes or the chthonians, but with sharp teeth
klecser
Part of the reason I don't use miniatures is the cost, so projects like this are most welcome!
Joerg
From the scale in the video, this ought to fit quite well with the Cthulhu Wars figures (I hesitate to call them miniatures). And with those of the Gods War set. Quote Telling how it is excessive verbis

There are piles of videos online about acquiring and or making cheap miniatures. The glory of it is that the scale is set by your 1/72 or 28mm heroes. So a castoff McDonalds toy or dollar store wrestler, soldier or zoo animal becomes a giant entity. With some glued-on modifications and a new paint job, that chipped Princess Jasmine figure from Goodwill becomes a force for your investigators to deal with.
Atgxtg
Yeah there are about a half dozen people, sort of disciples of DM Scotty, who post videos of this kinda stuff. Most of it is made with inexpensive supplies and some of the results are stunning. Edited April 25, 2019 by Atgxtg Quote Chaos stalks my world, but she's a big girl and can take of herself. Baron
Here is a link to a blogger who makes templates for papercraft figures. This link is to a few Cthulhoid monsters he made. I built the shoggoth, it looks pretty good. Mythos Creatures
