Conan System Summary
By Jason D
Here's the system summary I provided... it's got a little bit of Mongoose's Conan inspiration in it (at the time, I was freelancing on the line for them).

BRP Fantasy Character Sheet SJN Mk1
By Shaira
Hi all,
Here's a rough-and-ready one-page fantasy character sheet for the new BRP rules. I've included scope for the following optional rules:
Hit locations (although I've left a "Major Wound" section)
Fatigue Points
Attack and Parry as separate skills
Strike Ranks
Encumbrance
Skill Category Modifiers
I've also dropped some of the more non-fantasy skills (such as Psychotherapy) and defaulted to the "fantasy" definitions of skill default base chances.
This is just a Mark 1 - I'll continue to polish over time (and also as I work out some of the formatting issues on this new Excel 2007! )
Feedback is very welcome, and I'll try to incorporate what I can.
Cheers,
Sarah

A Game of Thrones Character Sheet
By Jason D
While working on the Guardians of Order A Game of Thrones RPG and waiting for the d20 and Tri-Stat rules to be finished (I was working on background, not rules), I ran a short campaign using a modified version of the rules from Elric! Here's the character sheet.

Classic Fantasy Iconic Characters
By threedeesix
Some have requested to see my groups characters as they were at the beginning of the "Against the Giants" adaptation that I'm currently running. Here they are. These are the same characters found through out the Classic Fantasy books in the various examples and have been around for a looong time. They started out as D&D characters twelve or so years ago, then got converted to BRP using RQ and Stormbringer. Then when getting involved in the BRP playtest they were updated again to the Big Golden Book and finally used extensively to playtest Classic Fantasy.
As of right now, they are current and 100% Classic Fantasy. They are NOT beginning characters by any stretch of the imagination. Like every long time group, they have a pretty amazing back story, and I try to use it extensively when writing the examples.
Included are...
Alexandra, cleric of Apollo
Sir Drake, paladin of Nimue (the Lady of the Lake)
Lilly Tanglefoot, halfling thief
Rengarth of Black Tower, human magic-user
Sorack Blackwolf, elf ranger
Lorissa of Stormholm, half-elf barbarian and devout follower of Sif
Also included is Lorissa's sheet when she rages (watch out)
Then only thing not included is the magic-users owl familiar named Rassiter,
and the clerics "pet" psudeo-dragon, snaggletooth

Feats and Aretes for Magic World
By tooley1chris
Basic Roleplaying Magic World Feats and Aretes
Feats are special bonus abilities gained by mastering skills. Starting at 75% and again at 100% the character gains a new feat for that skill every 50 points above 100%.
If using the Arete system from Advanced Sorcery, ignore the skill prerequisites listed under each feat, use that skill score system and count these feats as effects, to be gained every 50 (or 25) points above 100 in each skill.
Most of this material, including pictures and illustrations, are borrowed from other sources, from people much more talented than myself. All I did was convert it to be compatible with BRP/Magic World as best I could while trying to maintain a balance/fun ratio. Hope you enjoy it!

BRP Ravenloft Characters

Chaot did an extensive thread on rpg.net on converting TSR's Ravenloft to BRP. I couldn't find the link (search disabled) but here's the material I saved for my own use.

Fantasy BRP Treasure Generator
By tooley1chris
DON'T DOWNLOAD THE FILE HERE. THIS VERSION HAS BECOME CORRUPT. I'M PLACING A DROPBOX LINK FOR A GOOD VERSION OF THE FILE HERE.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/3utuirebgjpzewy/BRP_Fantasy_Treasure_Generator.ipt?dl=0
What's that dragon guarding?
This is a treasure generator for use with BRP fantasy settings, like Magic World.
The generator will prompt you for a treasure type, which BRP critters don't have listed in their details/descriptions, so I advise using a third party "manual of monsters" to cross reference the treasure type there for individual creatures. I personally like AD&D recommended treasure types.
You will also need the small,FREE NBOS program "Inspiration Pad" to use this table which can be found here:
http://www.nbos.com/products/ipad/ipad.htm
(I know it says Ipad but there's a windows and even android link.)
YOU NO LONGER NEED TO CHANGE THE FILE TYPE IF YOU USE THE ABOVE DROPBOX LINK
PLACE THE "BRP_Fantasy_treasure.DOC" file in the C:\Users\Documents\Inspiration Pad Pro\Generators DIRECTORY AND RENAME IT TO "BRP_Fantasy_treasure.ipt"
This table will allow the Chronicler to generate treasure types A-Z, as well as individual items such as Magic Weapons, Miscellaneous Items, Rings, Wands, Staves, Rods, Armor and Armor Pieces, Shields, Cursed Items, Mundane Items, Jewelry, Gems, Potions, Scrolls, and Spell Books (using Classic Fantasy and Magic World spells) as well as the suggested value in Bronze Pieces for each item.
I placed ALL this information in one table so as to keep it as simple as possible.
Can't say the tables are easy to edit if you're not familiar with NBOS, however, after a little tinkering it's pretty easy to add new items or descriptions to any category. I've run through hundreds of tests with each category and it all seems to work well but if you ARE familiar with NBOS please don't grief me too hard on the table set up. I know it's not very clean.

The Mentalist
By tooley1chris
This is an attempt to combine a little of 1st and 2nd edition D&D Psionics and convert it to be compatible with BRP / Magic World.
The great article Deep Magic from Advanced Sorcery got me thinking about a new way to incorporate psychic powers into my campaign. The Mentalist is the result.
All of the descriptions within, while edited and converted, are from various other writers possessing more talent than I.
All of the images belong to artists of many sources, all FAR more artistic than myself, from other books and the internet. They are not free stock or open license.

The Arcanium Mines
The Arcanium mines is a fragment of a fantasy setting which uses mutations in a world where the main power is Magic (or potentially Sorcery). It can be used to add flavour to a setting or as a major plot point at the GM's whim. Use it as you will,
Byron.
