  1. Is the ebook going to be released at the same time? I wasn't planning on buying the book-book.
  2. That's OK, I was mostly asking about the ones already published. Thanks though.
  3. Do you have a list of the books in the series? I'm not sure if I have them all yet or not. I don't like DTRPG's new website, it makes it harder to tell right away if I have a book from the product page.
  4. Yeah, you butter up the head priest, and you are *allowed* to learn spells. You don't *actually* learn them until you sacrifice the POW.
  5. Oh, good one. Barnes & Noble has 2 5-book omnibus ebooks of the Thieves' World series for a pretty good price, if you have a Nook, or the Nook reader app. As I recall, it started out pretty good and focused, but the later books veered off into the usual each author wants to do their own thing of many shared world series. Multiverse shenanigans were a part of it very early though so Sanctuary persons showing up in Dragon Pass wouldn't be out of line.
  6. If you want maximum cheese factor, how about the old Ray Harryhausen movies, Jason and the Argonauts & Clash of the Titans. Slightly less cheesy, Xena Warrior Princess and/or Hercules.
  7. I'm getting a 403 error when I try to follow your link.
  8. Not a typo, but meta-data errors. The title field in the PDF for both of them has "Cults of Glorantha [2 or 3]", and has "The Lightbringers" or "The Earth Goddesses" in the author field. It would be nice to have the ISBN, and publisher info too, but I don't know if those are standard fields or something that Calibre adds in. The Prosopaedia has sort of the same error. The title is correct, but it says "The Prosopaedia" in the author field. Also, The Prosopaedia isn't listed in the RuneQuest:RPiG sub-section on the DriveThruRPG website. But that's probably a site configuration problem, not a problem with the actual file.
  9. I missed this the first time, but it looks good. As I was reading the Weapons & Equipment Guide I was thinking that building & operating a Caravanserai would be a nifty idea for a campaign basis.
  10. So when are us folks who weren't at GenCon going to be able to get our hands on these?
  11. So, I just watched the Barbie Movie and had this crazy idea. The plot is basically a Heroquest shown from the POV of the inhabitants of the God Plane. All these platonic (barbonic?) ideal Barbies are having the best day ever, living their best life, every single day. Then all of a sudden stuff from the real world starts intruding and things change, and they don't know what to do. Barbie has to go find a Hero to fix things, and things get worse, and things get maybe better, there's a new Barbie (anxiety ridden depression Barbie, with sweat pants), everybody is happy! Until the next time anyway.
  12. For some reason I read that as "Orlanth Thundercats". Now I want that cult.
  13. Is it going to be available ebook only, no print? I love your guys' books, but I don't have room for a lot of real books these days.
  14. Is there a list of which cults are in which book? The list linked in the other thread seems to have gone missing.
  15. Well, I've been promoting the sale on the other discussion boards where this subject has come up. Of course that ends today, but the $14.99 regular price is still a pretty good deal.
  16. Moooommm! @Jose is touching me!
  17. I've only got that one in PDF, so my bookshelf is safe. One of the biggest bookshelf busters I've purchased recently was The Books of Earthsea: The Complete Illustrated Edition by Ursual K. LeGuin. It's almost five inches thick! I was disappointed though, very few illustrations, and it is sized and shaped really awkwardly for actually holding and reading.
  18. If you're doing that, you might as well just buy the RQ Classics Cult Compendium. It has both of those, plus some misc stuff from other sources. The RQ Classics compilations are all pretty good values, IMO.
  19. If you are buying them from DriveThru RPG, they're on sale until Mar 13. Instead of just buying the whole bunch of them, you might want to just start with the RQ Second Edition book, and the Apple Lane adventure. That's the classic starter adventure. The 2ed had a quite a few improvements over the 1ed (In My Opinion, anyway). Or if you do buy a lot, just read those two first. 🙂
  20. There is a Chaotic Features/Curse of Thed table in both the Red Book of Magic and the Bestiary.
  21. So the answer is a definitive "Maybe". 🙂 Now I don't feel as bad about not finding the answer in the Q&A, because it wasn't there before. Anyway, has anybody been crazy enough to use rune metal javelins or arrows?
