What's to stop a priestess of Ernalda from using Earthpower repeatedly to draw POW from Earth? Say she makes a binding enchantment costing 3 POW. She then uses her mp:s to zero, falls to ground and uses 5 RPs to Earthpower, drawing 3 POW from Earth. She then sacrifices the POW she gained to whatever she fancies, prays her rune points back, and does it again 🙂 The spell isn't one use or temporal, so this seems possible

A Yelmic divorce might be more difficult to obtain, except in cases of infertility or infidelity? Then again, who needs a wife, it's much more fun to speak with birds....

What about the source of the animating spell? It doesn't matter if the source is a Chaos god? One could argue if the enchantment is Chaos magic, it would detect as chaotic?

A ZZ Death Lord animates a skeleton, the skeleton obviously does not detect chaotic. What if a vampire does the same using Vivamort's magic ? Or a Thanatar priest using Thanatar's ?

This npc Babs I'm making has Honor, and has Harmony rune at 80%. Death 99%, Earth 98%, and she also has Love for her girlfriend and grandmother (also a Babs RL, her idol). I'm trying to break the stereotype a bit, a fun project 🙂

I see it this way: Babs has a high Death rune --> likely no Love-passions. But she also has a high Earth rune --> likely has Lust-passions (like Lust [someone], maybe even generally Lust [sex])

I'm trying to make an npc Babs runelord, and could use a spoiler since the new cults books are who knows how far away from being published. I'm aware that in Hero Wars runelord of Babs is a sort of bride of the Goddess herself and therefore must remain celibate (or is it virgin, no less?). Is this still to be the case? In Wyrms Footnotes 9 her description says she's had husbands and other lovers, so celibacy would seem odd. Could someone who has either been lucky enough to obtain a preview version from the cults books or otherwise has secret knowledge help me a bit? A whole description of Babs runelord would be even better. Thanks 🙂

No I don't, I consider wyters a mandatory part in belonging to a community, they are less than gods and therefore not full fledged cults

YGMV: I have allowed a character to initiate in 2 cults which must be allies, plus clan's & tribe's wyters, plus to be a lay member in as many cults as one wants

Easy solution: a mission from the gods, works just fine

I inserted Day of the Dead in my own campaign: it was Ty Kora Tek's holy day in Dark season, adventurers and others told stories about their dead loved ones. Lots of candles, gifts to ancestors, and an inconvenient attack by trolls

I started playing RQ with my friends in 1991 and we played Griffin Mountain at least two times before switching to another game in 2005. Now, having returned to RQ 16 years later, I agree with you: the Griffin Mountain and the Praxian supplements are still the best rpg adventures ever that I have encountered 🙂 Edit: bought the maps, thanks for the tip

A question (probably a stupid one, pardon me) A disease master of Mallia casts Carry Disease, say blotches, to a willing broo. The broo can infect people, weapons, gear, loot by touch, right? What about the poor hapless human he infects with the blotches, can he continue the merry thing by infecting other people and objects with his touch (or piss, feces, whatever) or does it end with him?
