  1. For info, there is also a Moon Design approved vassal module for the 1980 Chaosium version of Dragon Pass http://www.vassalengine.org/wiki/Module:Dragon_Pass
  2. As it was confirmed on the RQG preview list in the future clarification document ( Rune Fixes )
  3. Barbarian Town is controlled by the Pol-Joni: so horses & cattle for a different kind of Wild Wild West!
  4. Well, at 16, my first D&D (and RPG) game as a player almost made me abandon RPGs. Fortunately, a trip to London gave me access to the RuneQuest box!
  5. Curious people can look here: https://archive.org/details/FourThousandYearsAgoPanoramaOfLifeInTheSecondMilleniumB.C.BibbyGeoffrey
  6. Given that most 416 HQ Pavis: Gateway to Adventure pages were new (and great) material, I have no doubt we will get new usable things in the next 2 books.
  7. Also available on Chaosium site: https://www.chaosium.com/sartar-campaign-pack-pdf/ I would add that not everyone is aware of that pdf existence!
  8. Just do what I always do in that case: use web archive. Here it is: http://web.archive.org/web/20160403203216/http://www.mongoosepublishing.com/pdf/leglogopack.zip
  9. "Lunari ite domum!" Just in case, I mention from G+:

Anyway, given how cheap is HQ1 material, and volume of information / inspiration in it, I fail to see how can it be a waste of time & money to get them...
  11. Don't forget that a trollin can always participate by being in the stomach of another troll Rune Lord!
  12. What we can say is that's has been the case since first RuneQuest rule book. I don't remember ever seing a explanation...
  13. Up until now, in previous RQ versions, an acid has been doing damage equal to its potency. Nothing to roll against. It just hurts.
  14. Yes, in a day (same source: WF#12).
  15. Nice catch! "a week" word was present in original Wyrm's Footnotes #12 article but has been missing since (Borderlands and in the reprint Borderlands & Beyond)!
  16. From "Local Spirits and Sylphs" by Michael Raaterova: http://www.pensee.com/dunham/se/spirits.html
  17. Hum, some wild things look like very suspicious!
  18. Simon Bray illustration for Multi-Missile spell in Openquest 2: https://www.deviantart.com/blackyinkin/art/The-Huntress-406943913
  19. The latest one available on Chaosium site is a 90.63 MB file, from 18/06/28 as said in Acrobat reader properties.
  20. For info, RQ3 rules proposed (Box Set - Glorantha Book page 29): Loss of one of a scorpion man's multiple legs will not inĀcapacitate it, though if it loses two on one side, it is slowed and canĀnot attempt any Agility skill. If it loses all three legs on one side, it is immobilized. Damage to a scorpion man's legs does not subtract from its total hit points.
  21. p.4 (pdf page 5), first column "Several of The Terrors described within can best armies" => "beat" perhaps?
  22. This slipcase is made to contain just the first 3 books: Core Rules, Bestiary & GM Pack. GM book will be out "later". Depending on this slip case success, perhaps there will be others along the line...
