So, where in Glorantha would we find Llhuros?
Bill the barbarian replied to simonh's topic in Alastor's Skull Inn
Thanks Simon, that is brilliant... I loved the Home Votive (see below). Wow, where to categorize Daly... a great visionary artist who took us along for the ride (instead of taking us for a ride), or the first originator of the mockumentary. -
plus the number of MPs boosting the Rune Spell over one as SRs. (i.e.) Heal Wound for 5 points would take effect on SR 5.

Best of luck to my American Friends!
Bill the barbarian replied to Bill the barbarian's topic in Alastor's Skull Inn
So here we are—a few good wishes, a little trepidation heavily tempered with hope, and a new election day dawns. Are we going to make a difference. I don't think so, but it is nice to see the BRPers united and wishing America well. And I am sure we are not alone in hoping that niceness wins this election. There are pockets all over the States where people are talking to each other and wishing each other well. But we are here so, thanks folk for being nice! Thanks for the hope, and thanks for taking time out of the reason we are all here. To see Bill make only one joke in a topic (who knew)... nope... great d100 gaming! Before I start to sound like I am on the stump (campaigning in an effort to garner votes and political support, for those not hip to American political jargon according to The Free Dictionary) I will just say good luck America. Cheers -

Let's keep this area very gentle, so no trolling or controversial opinions please! If in doubt read the topics tags! -
Democracy is a lovely thing and you lucky folk down south get to exercise the rights that belonging brings tomorrow. Just think how many would love to have that chance, and here you are on the verge of casting a very important vote. I have had the honour of being a deputy returning officer for various elections over the decades, municipal, provincial and federal up here in the great cold north and being able to help folk to vote has been a great pleasure in my life. So, if y'all can, help an elderly relative get to the voting stations. Hold the door for the person after you to make them feel welcomed! Say hello to and wish the clerk taking your info a good day! Smile, someone earned you right, sometimes with their lives, to allow you this great privilege! I hope everyone has a fantastically peaceful day and that everyone can be gracious in the victory or loss of their choices! Cheers!

Allied spirits with a physical form...
Bill the barbarian replied to Shiningbrow's topic in RuneQuest
Having long been a proponent of the game being ours after we purchase it, I must say I find your being a very vocal proponent of letting the table decide (and keeping canon for Chaosium) to be incredibly refreshing. Cheers and thanks very much! -
Confusion over how often you can augment...
Bill the barbarian replied to Mordante's topic in RuneQuest
Quite true, I have been seeing the powers that be are quite happy to promote this thinking. -
I was very tempted to flag this as abusive... I will ask you very politely to please not use my name in a mocking way to show that you are so magnanimous that you even show consideration for that nasty barbarian. It is a nasty trick and I do not appreciate it! Have a great day!

Now this is what I call Necromancy Fu!
-
Right, thanks. ETA that was aimed at Godlearner but could equally apply to MOB.
-
That might be a bit pedantic. I think Peter's point remains intact. That is only 5* in total and and two of them are from the same scenario. Help me out here Godlearner, I cannot recall Aziok, where is she from? * plus?

Anything that starts with a quote on leadership by Nelson Mandela can't be bad!

Very true, my table loved them! I think he went onto have a small career after RQ... 😉 NIce, svennson. May as well acknowledge the great new works!

Seems to me there are very few (well, out side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe) pre iron age metal shields. A metal boss in the centre of the shield, maybe some rivets and a metal rim reinforcing the circumference, perhaps. There are experts here about that would have better info but that is a good starting point. Now do not forget the main rule of many tables around here... MGF! One Cap America shield for you, and for you, and for... hey everybody, look under your seat, a Cap America shield for everyone!
