You might direct your friend to the Gateway Bestiary: $10 in POD https://www.chaosium.com/gateway-bestiary-softcover-pod/ (includes PDF); $5 PDF-only. IIRC it included some of the statted samples in RQ3 Monster Coliseum. Sadly not the RQ3 Gloranthan bestiary, but still a much improved product. smiorgan Posted September 3, 2023 Share Posted September 3, 2023 (edited) No, but you can get Magic World (PDF or POD), which has all the RQ3 creatures of Basic Creatures, ship rules, a few sorcery spells that were omitted from BRP and other assorted RQ3 and Stormbringer stuff, all BRP compatible. Magic World however does not use hit locations, so if you are using this option you might want another monster source instead (Gateway Bestiary+ Glorantha Bestiary should cover 99% of the creatures of the RQ3 book and add a few more). Ethereal Posted September 3, 2023 Share Posted September 3, 2023 (edited) Myself while I am an older gamer (since 1978) and have all the books mentioned + others, I like to use the RQ Encounter Generator and tweek any creatures listed if needed there. This thread gives information on it. The web site itself has Templates as well so you can create your own creatures or modify them. If you look around on the website you can find Mythras and other similiar BRP/D100 references to other Games with monsters/Aliens/etc. Legend, https://notesfrompavis.blog/ . AFAIK, that generator is for RQ6 aka "Mythras," and will usually need at least some adaptation to mesh well with BRP "core" ...
