Fermentation is not a thing in Glorantha, but magical transformation is. Fruit when treated correctly by ritually stamping in large tubs calls forth the to goddess reciprocate with her powers to transform the dance energy and fruit into wine. The same with grains. Alcohol production is simple ritual magic (to those who know it). When it fails or doesn't quite work, it's down to bad goings on in the village or town, secrets untold. Divinations must be held to discover what is displeasing the spirits or gods and put it right. Nothing to do with darkness spirits.

Perhaps @MOB clarify the above license issues.

I found that removing half the Waha's Blessing cards stops the 100 cow pass round. I just realised I cut and pasted an older version of the table, the last two rows were upgraded to reflect magic in place. Hit Points 12 15 18 20 22 24 Armour 4 5 6 8 10 12

As one of the Convulsion committee I have no recollection at all of this event!. It's likely there were photos of it as our opening party events always involved a lot of dressing up and impromptu props. Our guests of honour were usually the faction heads - Greg Stafford, Ken Rolston, @MOB, Robin D. Laws, @NeilRobinson and Oliver Dickinson. Anyone have photos?
