  1. Gunda was the Sartarite equivalent to Bean Pot Aelwrin in the original boardgame. The rules had this thing were Gunda and Aelwrin would fall in love if they were in the same battle. This would result in their counters being removed from play. Gunda's mythology hasn't really expanded beyond the guide entry.
  2. The trains are not that bad if you travel after 9 am and avoid 4 pm to 6 pm.
  3. From Shin kicking to Sumo, virtually every culture has a form of Wrestling. It would be highly surprising if there isn't some form of Wrestling in Dragon Pass. You could even have a hero cult based on something similar to https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milo_of_Croton . Esrolian female earth wrestling has been banned by orders of the Grandmothers.
  4. You have never read Edna the tattooed lady.
  5. If you look to the right as you leave the main exit of Bath Spa station, the large hill is one of the claimed sites for the battle of Badon Hill. If you have the time the number 11 bus will take you up there.

  7. Umm how about Drinking: Potential Draconic illumination 1 day +2d6 Pow, going above species maximum, having to roll under CON to avoid taking 2d6 damage. Attunement Use Dragonnewt roads Sic transit gloria Glorantha. Lose 50% on all passions, hatreds and loyalties.
  8. Lance and Laser have a range of 28mm figures that are useable. They used to hold the licence, their miniatures are no longer called by their Runequest titles but the designs remain the same. Some Ducks http://www.rebelminis.com/28dahodu.html
  9. Kung Fu hustle, the tale of a young a Karlorenlan discovering his draconic connection. Great film
  10. You could try http://www.rapierminiatures.co.uk/page/Glorantha/GloranthaHome.html Or https://www.infinity-engine.com/index.php?id_category=21&controller=category
  11. I suppose that you could argue that Orlanth's draconic connection means that his children making their parents become an item is evidence of the effect of Ouroboros.
  12. Patterns going in cycles is not unknown in Glorantha, I see no reason why you can't do it in God time.
  13. Wait until you find out why they call them Mistress Race trolls
  14. Never, that Eleanor of Aquitaine was a real hottie
  15. I'm rather surprised that Bath isn't Aquae Sulis when settlements of similar size have their Latin names. Bath is the Saxon name and was originally know in the Saxon period as Bathchester.
  16. No apology necessary, I'm interested in other people's ideas
  17. I went with the countertenor baroque piece because in part because it sounds unfamiliar to most of my players and the baroque courts of absolutist continental Europe fit philosophically with the celestial court. The Orlanthi is a form of worship used in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, again similar to the Orlanthi and becasue the payers are not going to be familiar with it. It's the deep voice of the oktavist that I imagined booming out in perfect darkness that creates the link with the Uz in my head. I avoided Clannad/Enya becasue I dont want my players latching on to thinking that the Orlanthi are celts. I'm not saying I'm right, but this is just my personal thinking My general reason for picking something are: Does it fit philosophically Does it sound unfamiliar Is it reasonably possible for the target culture to have the technical know how to build the instruments. I have used this one for Lhankor Mhy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=locW-9S00VU&list=RDxG4kcf_1DgE&index=2 Esrolian https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PfRSr0F9eM
  18. It's Russian Orthodox liturgical music. It's the only musical tradition that uses the oktavist voice, which is an octave lower than the normal bass.
  19. There is a long tradition of playing Humakti Ducks, known as Death Drakes and Storm Bull Ducks, known as Storm Bills. In one of my campaigns from the 80s someone played a female Death Drake called Hen-Hur. It's not always about min/max but the narrative strength of a character. Minsc in Baldurs Gate is a prime example.
  20. Openhanded Dwarfs or Individualist Dwarfs are easy to put into play. As @AkhĂ´rahils says Parvis Flintnail cultist Dwarfs are the obvious choice. Maybe Dwarf Mine in Dragon Pass as an origin. A possible Elf source for an Elf is a New Seed Traveller. Duck adventurers are common and won't raise an eyebrow in Dragon Pass and Parvis. Trolls have relationships with some Orlanthi communities.
  21. The SMU started out life as part of the boardgame Red Moon, White Bear. The Lunar College of Magic and the SMU were the first versions of spirit magic. Each constituent unit had a spirit which was used to attack, separate to the units attack and defence value. Both the SMU and the LCM aren't easily used in an RPG setting. The whole point is the combined abilities of the warlocks being stronger that constituent parts.
  22. I often play music in the to add flavor to my games. In the case or temples or religious ceremonies, I have used the followings Orlanthi Worship Yelm Darkness deities Prax In no way do I claim that these are canon, or even lore lawyers proof but I just use them to add atmosphere. I have never found anything that I felt that fitted with the Lunar pantheon, anyone got any suggestions.
  23. The Goddess English, as in language, is also being worshiped in India. The Dalit community built a temple because it's the only large scale spoken language in India that has no caste terms built in.
