East Sartar Six Sisters

Hi, I was reading the Guide about the Six Sisters and it picked my interest. What do we know about them? Do they offer rune magic? I know that they have spirits cult, but nothing beyond that.

They have always fascinated me.

Unfortunately, we don't know much about them.

I can remember most of them being names, in various supplements, but nothing more.

Maybe they are included as Spirit Cults in the new Cults Book.

Best current source, IIRC, is the RQ Classic Trollpak (which is available).  They do have spirit cults, but when those might appear, I don't know.

I can't see them in Classic Trollpak, AH Trollpak or AH Troll gods, but they are in AH The Haunted Ruins and the Sartar Companion. The earliest mention in in Dragons Past #7.

Which one of the current incarnation are The Cliff Toad and Do-Not-Ask-Who? Those are the only 2 I used back when I ran the AH Haunted Ruins when it first came out.

Based on the varied references, I'd equate the Cliff Toad with the Wise Frog Sister, and Do-Not-Ask-Who with the Wolf Sister.

They’re one of the best-known examples of the ancient Grazelander sites (spirit totems, burial mounds, hidden shrines and the like) that can be found all over Dragon Pass. Remember that the Pure Horse People had the run of the place between their defeat at Alavan Argay and the coming of Arim the Pauper. Nowadays they’re usually found in the Grazelands proper, but their relics can be found practically anywhere. (And yes, this makes a Grazelander adventurer very useful to have for a game based in Sartar: they know stuff about local landmarks and spirits that the locals don’t)

Hi I have the red book of magic now so I am thinking about their cults and maybe plan to use firshala's cult as template. What do you think. Instead of firesoul I will use Charisma for dolphin Sister, great leap for frog sister, clear sight for owl sister. The others I accept suggestions.

While waiting for their spirit cult write ups in Cults book, have a look at their descriptions in WF #15, Six sisters on the well. Each provides a single Rune spell (same order as well): Invigorate, Charisma, Divination, Seal Soul, Chomping, Vision.
