Agentorange
I don't suppose anybody has got the archives of the Chaosium digest from the 90's upto 2000 zipped up somewhere have they ? I think I can track them down from that point, but I understand that the digest started in either 94 or 96 so it's those early years I'm looking for. vagabond
I pinged Shannon A to see if he has the old archives anywhere. Ian
vagabond
Shannon believes the ZIP file here is pretty complete: http://pages.prodigy.net/gobackstage/chaos-digest/index.html It appears to go back through 1993. Ian

Gundamentalist
http://pages.prodigy.net/gobackstage/chaos-digest/index.html It appears to go back through 1993. Did anybody manage to snag a copy of this file, as its no longer there, and archive.org can't access the location? If they did, I'd appreciate a copy if possible. Chaot
I'm suure Shannon will have it tucked away someplace. I also think I have the file stored locally on one of my drives. I will see if I can't turn it up. Quote 70/

ORtrail
It download fine for me, I had to drop it into Word from Notepad to get decent formatting though. So, what is the history behind these digests? Oh, and thanks for making them available.
SDLeary
It download fine for me, I had to drop it into Word from Notepad to get decent formatting though. So, what is the history behind these digests? Oh, and thanks for making them available. They should all be text, probably look best with Courier. They were all discussions over a Majordomo listserv for those that. Not much different than getting a daily digest email from a Yahoo group. The discussions centered on the various rules systems that Chaosium had going at the time, though the RQ stuff was rolled out into its own digest, as was the topic of Glorantha. Alternate magics, using one rules system in place of another, etc. SDLeary
SDLeary
In fact, here is an Archive of the RQ and Glorantha digests, and a few others. These are NOT zipped for download, though you can arrange them by thread. SDLeary
