tooley1chris Posted April 3 Author Share Posted April 3 Been a rough couple weeks but I think I finally have QUASAR STAR Sytems and Starship Construction ready for Print on Demand approval from DTRPG. Actually had Systems done a few days ago but found some errors that required attention. Still waiting on QUASAR Core printed books to be delivered for proof reading... Also working on the first QUASAR Adventure Scenario. Mapping out a Frieghter, shuttle, and vital parts of a Starport. Atgxtg Posted April 12 Share Posted April 12 (edited) I like the top one, too. We just had a eclipse so the second one seems sort of "ho-hum". Now if you added a spaceship in front of the dark object (ala Forbidden Planet) it would look more Sci-FI ish. The third one just looks like Saturn (or some other ringed gas giant) which is okay, but it seems like a typical company logo that you see on a car, photocopier or refrigerator. Since the game is named Quasar, a quasar would seem to be the proper logo. I think if you brightened the center of the black hole, and the white light emission from the center, it would be perfect. tooley1chris Posted April 16 Author Share Posted April 16 (edited) Just got the proof copy of CORE Book and it's got a few errors I want to correct before releasing it on DTRPG. STAR SYSTEMS proof is being printed as I type so I'll get it to proof read in a couple weeks. STARSHIP CONSTRUCTION just got approved by DTRPG and is on its way to printers for approval by them. *PHEW* It's been a busy month! I'll be working on the first module more as I wait for these to wrap up. Decided on calling modules "Chronicles". It actually a much better sign to see the author of a RPG product getting excited fanboying over it, as opposed to just releasing more "product." It reminds me of the old days where game designers would rush off to show each other what they did. P.S. You should post a sneak peek pic from the other books too. Dog optional. I definitely will when I have them! Had to fix some formatting errors in the core book and reorder another proof. Starship Identification book was sent to printers for first proof 11 days ago.
