  1. So would you say people in the Third Age condemning Godlearnerism just do not realise how much accepted God Learnerish things are still present in they daily lifes? That's both crazy and interesting.
  2. About my review: remember you can use the "Translate" button on the right margin. When I finish my RQ6 campaign in Sengoku Japan, I'm looking forward to play the campaign "El destino de la Atlántida" ("The Fate of Atlantis") included in "Mediterráneo Mítico". I just wish they had developed more the magic of the Persian empire and some other small details, but all in all, and it being a reward for the kickstarter campaign of the Spanish edition of RQ6, it's pretty good. Runa Digital also sent the backers a nifty map of the Mediterranean in 350 BC, with all the main towns of the different cultures, three runic dice and a block of RQ6 character sheets nicely laid out by a man called Pelayo.
  3. I have also had doubts when translating names for my Gloranthan campaign (in Spanish). In my case, I translated Pimper's Block as "Pedestal del Esclavo" (Slave Pedestal/Platform), because it made more sense to me, as it is basically the oasis where slaves are sold and bought. How do you understand the nickname "Beatpot" by the way. Does it mean "beaten pot"?
  4. Some time ago, I read somewhere that after the collapse of the Middle Sea Empire the godlearnerish cult of Caladra & Aurelion began to loose importance, as it was no longer strongly supported by the rulers, and instead the old Veskarthan cult raised again as the most widespread cult. I think it makes sense.
  5. If the next chapter depicts the Cradle scenario, I think it's going to be a big spoiler for everyone who hasn't played it yet... Don't you think?
  6. If anyone is interested, I wrote a review in my blog and I interviewed the artist: Kalin Kadiev: http://elruneblog.blogspot.com.es/2015/09/resena-de-prince-of-sartar-y-entrevista.html Yes, it's in Spanish, but there's the Translate button on the right margin, and Kalin's interview can be read in English at the bottom of the page. I hope you like it.
  7. I'm happy this is being translated and I hope this lavish book gets the attention it deserves. I remember solo-playing a bunch of very interesting scenarios years ago and I had a lot of fun. My character was Jofre, a strong and burly soldier from Catalonia armed with a big sword, who was wandering around the Peninsula, helping people in distress. The system is very runequesty, so if you have ever played RQ, it will be really easy to start playing in medieval Spain. As for its darkness, it can be as dark as you want it, but these are the dark ages, after all. Actually this is like "Merrie England" but in Spain. Better yet: it's Spain as Spanish people in the middle ages thought it was. That's why you can see so many demons and magical beings, because back then, people sleeping in the open had millions of stories to make them afraid of that sudden movement between the brushes, on the other side of the fire. It's a gorgeous way of learning about Spanish history and folklore as well.
  8. XDDD XDD That's the closest you get to a machine telling jokes! Anyway, I hope you liked the review in spite of that. ;-)
  9. Pentallion: would you mind sharing the rules of that game within the game? I'm intrigued.
  10. Wow, I'll be reading this! Could you please ellaborate on the "Living Spells"? Why are they heading towards Esrolia? Did you play out the players double-crossing Gim-Gim? I'd also like to know more about that!

    Big Rubble

I'd love to buy a new Big Rubble book with new scenarios, or better yet: a campaign!
  12. Hi there, I also have written a review of Adventures in Glorantha in my blog. It's in Spanish, but you can hit the Translate button and see what happens...! http://elruneblog.blogspot.com.es/2015/10/resena-de-adventures-in-glorantha.html
  13. I love it. I even wrote a review in my blog about it. It even includes an interview to the artist (Kalin Kadiev) in English. You can check it out here.
  14. That sounds good to me. :-) So I voted 3 subforums.
  15. I ran the first scenario "Escorting the Goddess" at a RPG convention, with HeroQuest Glorantha, and we had a lot of fun. I let the players choose a solar religion (Dara-Happan traditionalists) as well as the lunar, and this led to some interesting interaction and discussions between the PCs. Fun was had! Has anyone else run this? I'd like to know how it went!
