  1. I also have Hawkmoon! We recently finished an epic campaign of Stormbringer/Hawkmoon/Corum. Started with Tragic Millennium characters went to the Young Kingdoms and finished off with the Rouge Mistress campaign. It was so awesome! I wanted to keep playing but my group is currently disabled.
  2. Used to play a lot of WEG Star Wars and D&D3.x, though not seriously for 10 or more years. For the last ten years all strictly BRP related, everything from Stormbringer, Runequest 2 & 6, Magic World, Dragonlines, a homebrew fantasy and homebrew scifi/superhero settings made with BGB. CoC: (classic, modern, dark ages, wild west, 30's, 50's, Delta Green, The Laundry). Currently GMing World War Cthulhu
  3. Yeah, if you get the BGB you can run all of that. Also a lot of other BRP games require it.
  4. Thanks for the links, Newt. I, too, was wondering about these systems.
  5. Communication is the key, just specify what you're talking about.
  6. I've noticed I can't change anything under the "Converted"? section, like RPG Biography, Current Games, Blurb, etc.
  7. So, after getting both systems and checking them out: We made characters with Achtung! Cthulhu, the character creation system is really nice, it goes into detail on your civilian life plus military training. Then we played "The Angel of the Abyss" free scenario for World War Cthulhu (I forget where I found it). Now we've started the "God in the Wood" scenario from the WWC book. I like WWC better for the setting, it feels more dark and gritty like the CoC I'm used to. But I like the boot camp training and rank options from A!C, you get a more detailed military char. Still both had very good quality products, both had excellent info for WWII. I'm glad I got both, I can run one and use the other for additional material.
  8. I just recently converted it to the new Magic World, it's in the download section.
  9. I converted the starting scenario from the old Worlds of Wonder: Magic World to the new Magic World. Remade the NPC's and placed it in the Southern Reaches.
  10. 264 downloads

The starting scenario from Worlds of Wonder: Magic World converted to the new Magic World. Enjoy!
  11. I downloaded both, I plan on running them sometime in the near future.
  12. I just wanted the scenario. The first official adventure set in the Southern Reaches. But I agree with smiorgan, I like MW better but RQ6 is not slacking, that's for sure.
  13. Version 2

    111 downloads

Timelord character creation rules for Call of Cthulhu.
  14. Hardcopy, I love books and it's easier for me at the table to be able to flip though. I agree some small adventures in PDF are ok, you can easily print the maps, handouts, what-not. I like having a PDF as a an optional back-up.
  15. OK, thanks guys. So A!C is more Hellboy. I got both of them, just trying to decide which one to run out of, I think I'll go with WWC and add some elements from A!C. Also I noticed A!C has lot more skills.
  16. I just ordered Achtung! Cthulhu (investigator and keepers guides). They look awesome, still waiting on WWC. Does anyone have any insight or comparisons on these, which one's better? would they work well together? etc, etc... Any thoughts or comments would be welcome.
  17. On its way! Should be here this week.
  18. Any word on "the Horsechester monograph", "the Chroniclers Companion", or other material for Magic World. I got some chaos bucks burning a hole in my account, I like to spend them soon. This summer? maybe?
  19. We have an on-going homebrew world where we use all the power types. Never had any problems, you can check it out in the downloads section, it's called Project R/S. After all Marvel and DC comics always had magic, mutants, psychics and everything else. So it worked out just fine. All out of the BGB.
  20. Now my old Big Blue CoC book was stuffed with notes, old handouts, character sheets, star charts and fragments of ancient manuscripts...hehe
