Quickstart Corrections?

When might we see an update to the Quickstart to bring it in line with the final RQG rules? For example, it is my understanding that the "higher roll wins" rule in opposed contests is no longer applicable.

I'm not expecting this to take priority over getting the Gen Con stuff produced!

We're doing the following:

1. Revising the QS rules to bring them up to date. (Our localization partners need this, as well as us.)

2. Getting these new rules integrated into the second Quickstart.

I'm not sure about the timetable for a second printing. I don't know how many we still have in stock.

Thanks for the reply.

And for anyone:

Leaving aside any corrections from RQG, were there any fixes made to the PDF that were not made to the printed version? Is there a list of the typos to the printed version anywhere?

I guess you are aware of the errata available on download page?

No.

But now I am.

How hard is it for people to answer questions around here? Is it something in the drinking water?

And thank you for the link to the errata. As one might guess, it was exactly what I was looking for.

The first question was answered within 2 hours, the second within 9 hours.

Isn't that reasonable?

The answer was actually a question asking me if I already knew the answer to the question, assuming for some reason I knew the answer.

Strangely, I did not already know the answer to the question I had asked.

I wasn't referring to the speed of the reply.

A little context, if you please... That "question" (in reply to yours) gave the answer you wanted.

It further did you the courtesy of "presuming" you had already found that year-old information (since it IS on a searchable public forum, after all).

And it gave the context of the reply being the most-recent info known to the respondent, that it is old but s/he knows of nothing newer.

So... comprehensive, courteous, clear...

I'm ...  kind of not seeing why you seem to be feeling aggrieved, here.

That wasn't clear.

Also, the answer that was a question also had a link to something that was an answer.
