  1. We played the Cradle scenario's Battle of Corflu during the last weekend. This time the players were commanding a Wolf Pirate Penteconter that helped the Cradle to pass the Delta. Would you happen to have pics of the Marble Phalanx soldiers or the marines in Corflu?
  2. Yeah, this was exactly what I thought too. Good that it's clafied now.
  3. That umberella must be quite sturdy to protect against the falling moon rocks.
  4. Hah, thanks for making the thread, I had wondered about it too.:)
  5. Because I didn't know which threads you were referring to.
  6. The Arrow Trance version is what I follow.
  7. There's been good discussion in this thread on how to handle it, but I also asked about it on the official questions thread here:
  8. I think so too, but I also asked about it in the official questions thread.
  9. DrDave seems to be new here, so you could have linked them.
  10. My guess is that the top of Kero Fin is on another plane where it touches the Skyworld like Sir Godspeed said.
  11. This is the kind of Humakti ambushes that I've allowed.
  12. Fighting in a skirmish formation isn't ambushing, that's why I wrote hit and run ambushes.
  13. I've also wondered if the Runelord have to pay the one point. In the example they don't, but in the first quote everyone has to.
  14. MOB talks about the horizon of Glorantha here:
  15. From the Guide: Red Moon: The Red Moon is visible throughout all of Glorantha, and is unique for a number of reasons. The Red Moon is the body of the goddess worshiped by the citizens of the Lunar Empire, who ascended into the sky in the Sacred Time of 1247. It is now much larger and brighter than when it first appeared, so large and bright that, alone among heavenly bodies, it is visible all day while the Sun shines. The Red Moon hangs motionless in the Middle Air directly above the Crater and the city of Glamour. The Red Moon is quite high up in the Sky, but not as high as the Sun or other planets. Its size appears almost as large as the Sun.
  16. And you can even get a Loyalty passion for your long time trainer.
  17. What's cool and good for an Orlanthi, isn't necessarily the same for a Humakti. Hit and run ambushes is the preferred tactics for Orlanthi slingers and javelineers, but is abhorrent for Humaktis. And Orlanth is famous for killing his ruler, stealing footwear, and rebelling.
  18. I used to have a system that I took from Stormbringer, where characters got piety points for doing stuff that pleased their gods. And these points were used for Divine interventions and other stuff, eg. if an initiate got 100 piety points he got an allied spirit. But getting that many points required returning an artefact or killing a shitload of enemies. Lately I removed the system since I thought that it didn't really belong into Glorantha where the Great Compromise restrict what the gods can do in mortal plane.
  19. You could try and say that your Storm rune is so powerful that you grew extra arms.
  20. Found this from Divination chapter: "A deity cannot invade anyone’s mind; though it knows when a worshiper has lost faith." So if a worshipper has stopped worshipping for some reason, the gods may not send their goons if they deem that the worshipper hasn't lost their faith.
  21. That sounds like a good way to handle it. Another would be to give Humaktis Loyalty (Employer).
  22. The following passage says that "These spirits do not come into action when initiates transfer to an associate cult.", so the Voria->Ernalda->Asrelia cycle (or turning into the Dark side of the Earth) is allowed. But other than that the sentence "The deity, without excuses, is striking out at those who deny it." doesn't seem to leave much wriggle room. I've allowed Storm gods' worshippers convert into Humakt without Spirits of Reprisal attacks, because the initiation severs all previous connections. And also so far I've followed the RQ3 rules which turns characters into inactive initiates if they fail to attend worship ceremonies, but inactive initiates don't seem to exist anymore, unless the new Cult books allows them.
