YGMV: They are used by Pelorian farmers as beasts of burden and for riding about their farms. Lots in the Grantlands along the Zola Fel for example. I've seen and ridden donkeys (I luuurve them) many places. We grew up with them everywhere. Great for mountainous regions. And a mount of choice for Humakti ducks

Always called it BRP as did those I gamed with, when that was a weekly occurrence. That said I never played it. Runequest all the way.

I have heard that it will be kickstarted shortly. Oh well wont have it for xmas then.

Its a good example of how Glorantha should just be how you want it. Square, rectangular, triangular or circular.

I checked the cult out, and in the compendium it is now a Trollkin cult. The Goblins ring a bell. Reminds me of the RQ Goblin articles in several editions of White Dwarf.

One of my pc's, a male follower of Raven, managed to jump on the back of a unsuspecting unicorn. He's presently getting scolded by his companions and they all seem to think he will lose his fertility for the act. His girl back home is already pregnant so he's lucky on that side. A classic spur of the moment craziness on his part. As for 90% of Yelornans having unicorns? A high number but I reckon the heroquest is important and heavily supported by the Tribe. The more Unicorns the better and each one contributes to the Wastes returning to what it once was. I imagine that when powerful unicorns walk, the ground under their hooves transforms momentarily to being fertile. Get a large enough herd and with some powerful quested magic I think a hidden Green Age field could be made or an Oasis made more fertile etc.
