RichardA
Does anyone own any issues of "Beaumains: The Arthurian Magazine for Gamers?" There were 6 issues of this British magazine, during the 1990s, and much of it was about Pendragon. It seems to be quite rare, but the table of contents I've seen are intriguing. TheHistorian
I have them, but they are in storage at the moment, so I can't tell you too much about contents. They come up from time to time on eBay. They don't tend to sell too high, but if a couple collectors are looking that day, they can do okay. Issue 6 is generally more common than the others. 2 Quote 44/
Morien
Slightly off-topic, but just to give a bit more visibility to "Dragons of Britain", a fanzine of all things Arthurian that had 4 issues, including an article from the now Line Editor (not yet then), David Larkins: https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/121452/The-Dragons-of-Britain-1?filters=0_0_44536_0_0 Available for free from Drivethrurpg.com.
SirGarethBeaumains
Hi there - Beaumains editor here - what would you like to know? I'm actually working on a project at the moment which is to reprint a bunch of stuff from the magazine, mainly adventures, plus more which was intended for the magazine but never made it before life got in the way of me having time to edit it. It will hopefully appear later this year. It would have been earlier, but that pesky real life got in the way again with (among other things) a house move and the hassle of dealing with bureaucracy in two different countries at the same time. Incidentally, if anyone out there is in touch with Tim Harris, Brit KAP fan, I'd be grateful if someone could help me get in touch with him.
Vortimer
Well, are their reprints? I never had a chance to own them as I was unaware of their existence. And I don't do ebay.
mandrill_one
@SirGarethBeaumains These news are really intriguing! Can you tell us more without infringing on some NDA? I've been running KAP on and off for 15 years now, and Beaumains remains my Grail, never managed to obtain a copy...

I would love to read them, so please, if you can reprint them, or make a pdf, I would be very happy.
borbetomagnus
I'd love to read the Beaumains issues too. Please consider putting PDFs up on DriveThruRPG.
redmoongoddess
I'm late but take my money. I love seeing old rpg treasures like really rare fan zines. It seems yours will be a true treasure of time!
beardo1976
Same here, I'd be willing to purchase issues if they come out in .pdf!
Clydwich
Beaumains is indeed a very nice zine. I have five of the six issues, and they contain a wealth of KAP material. As they were written so long ago, a lot of that information was the personal take of that writer on the Arthurian Legend. Because there was no GPC then, and Boy King was only published during the run of the magazine, a lot of the info in it is now either invalidated, or superseded by the GPC and other later official KAP publications. And at least one of the adventures in it was extended and published later in Tales of Chivalry & Romance, namely the adventure of the Mysterious Manor. However, as I am still missing Issue 1, some kind of publishing them all, or making them available in PDF, would be greatly appreciated Quote I do not know who I am, but I do know where i'm going! AlHazred
I would love to pick up the previous issues, and not just to fill in the blanks in my list of Pendragon articles. What's on there for Beaumains was gleaned from RPGGeek's entries. Edited April 29, 2022 by AlHazred Quote ROLAND VOLZ Running: 1870s Mashup Hero System | Playing: nothing | Planning: D&D 5E/OSE/Fantasy Hero Home Game D&D is an elf from Tolkien, a barbarian from Howard, and a mage from Vance fighting monsters from Lovecraft in a room that looks like it might have been designed by Wells and Giger. - TiaNadiezja
