That’s pretty much what happened to the kids from “Lion, Witch and Wardrobe” in the sequel “Prince Caspian.” One minute they’re waiting for a train in London, the next they’re on a deserted wooded isle ... someplace, with no idea why or where.

How big are ducks supposed to be compared to an average human? The Duckmen at 20mm would be brawny fellows but a head shorter than a 28mm human hero. The 15mm duck warriors would be hobbit or toddler size compared to a human adventurer.

Good improvisation, keeping it simple. Their initial foray can lead them into more complicated adventures.

I started this thread because Rick Meints asked me to. Why is it necessary to remind me that I’m not at the helm? He asked for requests and loyal customers are providing them.

The point of the thread isn’t that we don’t want new material. Chaosium and its licensees are already pumping that out. But if you’ve got a 40-year back catalog of product (writers, artists, editors already paid for), and presumably it was good stuff (since Call of Cthulhu is an enduring success), why not double-dip, er, I mean maximize your profits by making the best of it available again? “Cthulhu’s Greatest Hits!”
