    Red Robin ?

Doesn’t the cult specialize in high-end cheeseburgers and shakes? https://www.redrobin.com/
  2. Moonraker Miniatures has lots of figures appropriate for Call of Cthulhu but I stumbled across these in their science fiction line: http://www.moonrakerminiatures.com/phagons.htm In other words, broo with laser weapons!
  3. You mean it screams “lots of sinister people and things you didn’t want to meet and stuff to do to get away from them.” Did you see the expressions on their faces? No, they’re lying. You didn’t go to junior high with them, and they aren’t working their way through college by selling magazines. 😱
  4. But think of how scary a pack of savage waist-high critters would be for your 25mm heroes. ”That noise! Oh no, they’re coming in through the air vents! Ahhhrrrrggg!”

  6. If it is still available, “Murder in the Footlights” was a free download from Chaosium briefly presenting a simple mystery that could be played straight or in a Scooby Doo-ish manner.
  7. The “Planet 15” line has some nifty B-movie monsters, too, including fish men. http://khurasanminiatures.tripod.com/planet15.html
  8. Penthesilea does not look like a happy camper. Wouldn’t want to cross her.
  9. http://khurasanminiatures.tripod.com/little-carinthia.html As role players we often live in a 28mm world when it comes to miniatures. These 15mm horrors are pricey but evocative.
  10. That’s pretty much what happened to the kids from “Lion, Witch and Wardrobe” in the sequel “Prince Caspian.” One minute they’re waiting for a train in London, the next they’re on a deserted wooded isle ... someplace, with no idea why or where.
  11. Here’s another one, toy wrestlers converted to Lovecraftian entities with papier mache:
  12. Looks as if there are more figure options in 6mm. Viva mini-Prax! The 28mm do look good. The herdmen are suitably brutish.
  13. I've heard of Night Man and Prototype but the other characters are unfamiliar to me.
  14. Other folks are thinking along the same lines as our posters here: http://www.backtobalazar.com/using-28mm-miniatures-for-runequest-plastic-or-metal/ Reaper Bones beastmen make good broo stand ins. https://www.reapermini.com/Miniatures/beastman/latest
  15. Baboons https://www.ebay.com/itm/Armorcast-Lance-and-Laser-Fantasy-Mini-28mm-LL03049-Baboons-3-Pack-MINT-/113684802424 https://www.ebay.com/itm/Armorcast-Lance-and-Laser-Fantasy-Mini-28mm-Baboon-Shaman-Pack-MINT-/113732599618?oid=112086603193 http://www.northstarfigures.com/prod.php?prod=145 https://shop.badgergames.com/product.sc?productId=3
  16. http://www.northstarfigures.com/prod.php?prod=6035 Spearwoman, kind of pricey for a single figure. So far haven’t found many packs of female warriors, mostly expensive individuals. http://www.northstarfigures.com/prod.php?prod=5772 From their line of Celtic figures I didn’t care for the look of these: https://www.essexminiatures.co.uk/collections/25mm-fantasy-amazonian-warriors Another take: https://shop.badgergames.com/category.sc?categoryId=83

  18. How big are ducks supposed to be compared to an average human? The Duckmen at 20mm would be brawny fellows but a head shorter than a 28mm human hero. The 15mm duck warriors would be hobbit or toddler size compared to a human adventurer.
  19. http://www.rebelminis.com/28dahodu.html There are also these ducks, 10 figs for $20.
  20. https://www.magistermilitum.com/era/fantasy.html?cat[0]=60022&cat[1]=59625&cat[2]=61918 Medieval ducks in 15mm. A fit? Would 15mm ducks look right alongside 28mm humans? Are their weapons and armor too advanced for Glorantha?
  21. GORE is a distillation of BRP via Mongoose Runequest 1, from Goblinoid Games, www.goblinoidgames.com. http://www.lulu.com/shop/daniel-proctor/gore-generic-old-school-role-playing-engine/paperback/product-876876.html
  22. Good improvisation, keeping it simple. Their initial foray can lead them into more complicated adventures.
  23. I live in Yig’s backyard. I think he’s holding out on us, snake that he is.
  24. I started this thread because Rick Meints asked me to. Why is it necessary to remind me that I’m not at the helm? He asked for requests and loyal customers are providing them.
  25. The point of the thread isn’t that we don’t want new material. Chaosium and its licensees are already pumping that out. But if you’ve got a 40-year back catalog of product (writers, artists, editors already paid for), and presumably it was good stuff (since Call of Cthulhu is an enduring success), why not double-dip, er, I mean maximize your profits by making the best of it available again? “Cthulhu’s Greatest Hits!”
