The very coolest thing for me about Orlanthi religion and myth was always, Orlanth was destined to fail until. UNTIL, he talked to the “strange gods”. When Orlanth went to talk to all (perhaps an Orlanthi All, I like to think he went above and beyond) to all the deities that he did (a very big tent party) a new destiny was being woven. It was a large project and doomed to failure with a dramatic lack of software transition support with the switches from the Aldus company to Adobe and then the switches from PM 5 to 6 and 6.5 and then InDesign.(I think the are now at CSS Indesign 13 where Freddie meets Micheal meets pinhead meets the terminator...)I had to throw my hands in air (as though I just didn’t care) and give up. To be honest a thread here with SDLeary (?) about saving my work (well bringing it forward into Indesign, I had already saved it {learning moment here, there are two kinds of people, those who have yet to back up and...}) was the bee in my bonnet for launching this topic. Many of you saw or participated in the OGL news thread that was the latest sire or mare to these ideas, So, the point I am making is any work I have done before is now going into my projects. Once saw a thread on Wheels (the gold coins invented by the Goldwheel Dancers?) being magical and requiring magic to create. Also a few intriguing references to such in modules of the day. Long time ago, so I am a little hazy, though I note that there are rumours of gold coin producing magical artefacts scattered here and there . No need to ‘splain me where and what they are. I am just avoiding the need for spoilers by being vague here. So is this still canon, gold coins either being magical, created by magic or of a magical pedigree greater than their relationship with the Dancers?
