lawrence.whitaker
A sneak peak at the brand new cover for the updated Mythras Imperative. Anathaym in three incarnations, reflecting the scope of the Mythras rules and the content of Mythras Imperative. This edition of Mythras Imperative has additional rules for character creation, firearms, and vehicles. Like Classic Fantasy Imperative, it is completely open using the ORC license and will have an accompanying SRD. The PDF is completely free, and there will be a Print on Demand edition for those wanting a physical copy. We expect to release it in December. Watch this space for release details. 12 1 Quote The Design Mechanism: Publishers of Mythras

g33k
This image totally makes me want to run a time-travelers' campaign... or maybe a "reincarnations / past-lives;" where you've got different eras' campaigns intermixed...? 1 Quote C'es ne pas un .sig

Good idea! In the first adventure (first life) greek warriors fight ancient beings (Nephilim / Anunnaki / the Greek Gods) by stealing their weapons and (since they can´t be destoyed) put them in a concealed location. In the second adventure (second life) in the 1960s some regular people gets triggered by an event and get flashbacks to their past lives, and search for the lost location to find the weapons they secured in their first life. In the third adventure (third life) in the 22nd century the same people get triggered again, and have to become mercenaries to fight the returned ancient beings that threaten their world.

Raleel
For those of you who are not quite as obsessed, 70 pages is just shy of twice the length of the current Imperative. Vehicles will be completely new to it (the one in the Companion is 11 pages). 2

Peter Fitz
I guess the new cover is more representative of Imperative as a generic-ish rules system, but I think the old cover was much more atmospheric.
