  1. This also happened in a campaign I played in. One of the PCs was a shaman and he hated so much the villain of said campaign that when we finally defeated her, the shaman had a fetish ready and he imprisoned her in it FOREVER. Pretty nasty, yes. He didn't confess it to the rest of the players until the campaign ended. 😋
  2. What was Labrygon trying to achieve with the Puzzle Canal?
  3. Is there anyone on the Internet, either Chiarina or others, writing a chronicle of their Red Cow adventures?
  4. Could someone please point me to a list of differences between the QuestWorlds SRD and HeroQuest 2.0? 🙂
  5. Is Gonn Orta really a piece of Genert?
  6. Cool! What is his visor made of?
  7. I remember reading somewhere that when the Sable nation joined the Lunars, all their Storm Bulls left the tribe. That must have been a lot of people, though.
  8. I think The Chaos Society may still have copies of Eurhol's Vale and It's not Easy Being Grim available. See the comments section in my review of The Widow's Tale. 🙂
  9. On Studio' Deadcrow's website I found these pieces that are going to be included in the soon to be released French edition of RQG. 😮👍 This looks like an Ernaldan sacred garden: I guess this one belongs to the scenario included in the French rulebook: And this is a cool cover of the adventure book. Although the dragonewt has an unusual look, the broo is pretty cool:
  10. There is at least one scenario set in Glorantha. Jörg is cited as coauthor of one of the scenarios, so maybe he'll pop in to tell us more! 😄
  11. That fun fact is included in the post! 😁 (André Jarosch told me!)
  12. Hahaha! 😆 Funny that you found about that in a post written in Spanish! I think the reaction you describe was common in many fans, even RQ veterans at the time, because HW was so different to previous RPGs. I only got around to play it after my GM insisted a lot, and then I loved it. I guess you mean the HeroQuest adventures book. You can see a preview and the title of the scenarios here. Are you interested in any of them in particular?
  13. Hi, As with the post about the French covers of RQ and HQ, I've now compiled all existing RQ and HQ covers of the German edition. 👈 (Except for those which look the same as the original editions). I hope you enjoy the read (remember to use Google translate to transmute the text into your language of preference) 😁 and let me know what you think.
  14. Hi, here's my opinion on Yozarian's Bandit Ducks! 😀👌 I expect to do more reviews from the Jonstown Compendium soon. Next up: The Throat of Winter.
  15. Wow, it's amazing that someone has put so much time and effort to create something like this. It's brilliant. It makes creating fantasy languages a piece of cake.
  16. Looking forward to this. BTW, I included D101 games in my report on the D100-related news compilation on my blog (you can use the translation gadget on the right to translate the text from Spanish into English). https://elruneblog.blogspot.com/2020/04/noticias-de-abril-sobre-runequest.html
  17. "Sorb" is a word I had only read once here: http://ruleonemagazine.com/Iss11/LifeSedenya_3.php
  18. Prepare an adventure where some NPCs with important information get possessed by evil spirits and the shaman needs to exorcize them. Or there is a spirit with important information that the shaman needs to cajole, appease or control.
  19. You may be surprised to know I also had to skip that part. 🙂 I asked my HeroQuest GM to write that part, as he's going to use those scenarios in his next HeroQuest campaign (The Eleven Lights). So I haven't read the scenarios in the book. Many years ago, we decided he would buy and read all Gloranthan material related to Sartar for his campaign, and I would buy and read all the Pavis/Prax material for my campaign. Well the Sartar/Prax map from the rulebook is still a bit dark and hard to read, but yes, all the contents are superb.
  20. Yeah, I would love a whole book filled only with those sandbox miniscenarios. Perhaps at Sartar-level, even. As for your idea, it looks interesting. A friend of mine also run a short campaign with children PCs (only they were ludoch!).
  21. Yes, it is still in the game, but not as prominently as before. It's a minor change.
  22. Do you agree with it? https://elruneblog.blogspot.com/2020/04/review-of-runequest-gamemaster-screen.html 🙄 🤔
  23. Thank you! 🙈 It's become clear now that I only have the French version, he he. 😋
