How do Aldryami communicate and if different from humans, can humans learn to do the same? Tell me what you know of those that live in the Big Rubble. Please.

I'm concerned that there are concerns

I now have an image of herds of 500 Bison tip toeing through the sparse grasslands, daintily avoiding Impala shrubs, Sable bushes and High Llama trees as they search for their Bison grass... Don't churn the ground!

My Feathered Rivals game set in the Wastes has all the characters as possible shamans, with a little over half of them planning on becoming one. Every character has the spirit rune and are members of their rivals' spirit society.

Can folks explain how Fetches work, using Prax as the localised area. My game has several apprentices and i'd like to know how fetches work and what form they take before they become shamans.

Parochial crap is good for me too. I have it at 1W.

I have a city cult in my game with geezers in it...

My current game's Apple lane equivalent: Fig Lane, a small settlement outside of Pavis, has a Pawn shop run by a Duck. (Not to be confused with my Fig Lane in Adari and it's Pawnshop which just got burned down.)

Meh, I just look at it differently. Bladesharp: A flint spirit to add sharpness to your blade Silence: Moss spirit to deaden your footfall, a mouse spirit to be as silent as.. Spirit binding: A predator such as a spider spirit to ensnare the victim. Detection blank: A darkness spirit to hide the gold from the detection. Raven to conceal it... There are soooooo many variants and possibilities.

From what I understand everything in Glorantha has spirits...rocks, trees etc. So what happens when something is constructed using several things, such as furniture? Does something built from wood and stone have a wood spirit and a stone spirit or is a Bench spirit conceived? Or is it a dead thing? Does a house have a spirit?

As the Pol Joni lands border Sartar it does seem odd that they would travel to Pavis. Plus wouldn't they breed their own? Horses from Pent seems odd too. How would you get a herd through all that nomad controlled Wastes? Love the lists though, great resource.
-
All those horses in Pavis, are they for the Lunars? There's a fair bit of herd beasts going to Dragon Pass.
-
Yes. Chariot races but involing scores of herdmen, not several uber gern, pushing and pulling. A mad scrum especially when turning corners. On holy days/heroquests real giant snakes pull them. At Hoofcrack it is the myth of when Ronance ran over Malia or "The Green Age Code."

Murals abound in Glorantha, are their gods of art?
-
Ronance has an oasis too. I reckon Morokanth have held that oasis in the past and somehow got one of his chariots. Perhaps led by a Morokanth Priestess who taught them the rites after serving in the Paps. Being bad boys the young uns adapted them for racing in their leisure time, put go faster spirits in the wheels and snake spirits in their herdsmen. Velakol is one of those boys all grown up. Vroom: Snake spirit of the Wastes (Think black Mamba) Movement rune.

Each of the herd beasts have their own type of fodder. So Morokanth will too. Though scarce in the Wastes this will be nutritious and gathered by herdmen. There will be plenty at oasis and along the river. It's Glorantha not Earth.

I think Morokanth only raid small family groups and when they do it is a total take down. All the herd beasts and all the people. No need to run away then. Picking suitable terrain is a no brainer. Attacking at night or when the beasts are watering. They have awakened herdmen dont they? Nothing stopping them from learning to ride and even impersonating nomads. Hard to tell at night.
