  1. If you are referring to the Other Details section, that has been corrected.
  2. You can change it. Download the markdown file, open it (using something that opens markdown - I use Atom), change remove the bold, output as PDF.
  3. There are currently 32 spirit cults in the book with a few more to be added. The Horned Man isn't a cult: Kolat is a simple spirit cult with a few common rune spells and Bind Wind.
  4. Our new all singing and dancing version integrated with chaosium.com. It will include Pavis GtA.
  5. This should be one of our Print on Demand products eventually. No time frame sadly.
  6. GM Screen Pack on Chaosium.com and DTRPG files updated - please head over to your respective accounts and download. New files end in 1.0.1 and contain minor text fixes: Calendar, Orlanth & Odayla Holy days 32 -> 39 GM Reference, Skill Augments table, success -20 -> +20 Adventurer Sheet, Armor & Hit Locations, Shield, PARRY -> SKILL
  7. I would love have a copy that we could sell. I only have Robin's draft manuscript before layout...
  8. I'm looking to start some resource pages on greathall.chaosium.com. What short single book would you give to following to read, that captures the flavour of Pendragon without scaring them off. An adult friend A young person (12-18) A child (5-11) I'm fully aware that there's an appended bibliography in KAP 5.2 page 238. For example, my go to book to lend is King Arthur and His Knights of the Round Table written by Roger Lancelyn Green, works great with 8+s, most find the cover enough: Please no comics, films, learned tomes or RPG material (we will do them soon enough). One suggestion per age group per reply, should keep it followable? Non-english suggestions welcome.
  9. Hopefully. I'm going to transfer the site to wellofdaliath.chaosium.com and hopefully restore those missing parts. This is a backburner process though...
  10. There was a draft version of the books available at Gen Con 2019, since then there's been a lot more work done on them. If you were at Dragonmeet or at one of the London meetups, you could read through the latest drafts. The Table of Contents are not a good guide to the number of cults as some are contained within others:
  11. New entry add to the sections sidebar - RuneQuest Glorantha Corrections and Q&A
  12. As the person who put together the last Rune font, the runes are irregular as they look terrible as monolithic blocks of symetrical black. For the ones I had to redo, I scanned them, autotraced, then smoothed, then edited a bit more to make the rough. Here's the truth rune without fill, showing the line points. In world it would entirely be dependant on the surface it was applied to, cut into (type of wood, stone, cloth, skin, wax, clay, etc). The material or tool doing it (stylii, brushes, chisels, knives, etc). The material being used to make the strokes (brush material, stick, etc), the skill and style of the "artist", the pigment composition (animal, mineral, vegtable, magical, etc.) So just like the real world. Take a look through the various Glorantha publications for various different forms. For the Khordavan font, these were traced directly from Greg's original notes. Variations (uppercase) were basically Greg's different handwritting. Gene Day's runes on a High Llama's neck armour in Nomad Gods. Luise Perrin's Chalana Arroy priestess in Runemasters Chalana Arroy ritual, Barbarian adventures, note the plinth. There are loads of examples in HQG, GtG, RQG, etc.
  13. CHA4028 RuneQuest: Roleplaying in Glorantha – Chapter 13 Rune Magic Q&A The Q&A pages are official corrections and answers (errata). 18. While I'd love to do that - the PDFs of these products are still on sale in our store https://www.chaosium.com/knights-adventurous-pdf/ However - In a strange twist of fate, Neil made the Designers Notes one of the preview pages! Click through to the page, under the main picture it says "see 8 more Pictures", it's the last one. Open the picture in a new tab to view it. If you don't own this, it's very handy reference - Personally I still use the Grand Events chapter as it contains: Visits to Court (not in 5.2 but likely elsewhere) Feasts (shorter than reading The book of feasts (apologies @sirlarkins) Tournaments (more detailed than 5.2) Hunting (in the 5.2 intro game, but this is more detailed) I printed it out from the PDF and use it in my games.
  19. Hi, the website that had the files has expired. The materials on it were copyright Greg Stafford and are now copyright his family estate. We don't have permission to republish the contents or distribute them. They are not in the public domain. If some one wants to start an atlas / gazetteer based on our published products I could certainly add it to the Greathall.
  20. All of the current answers from Jason's RuneQuest Core Rules Questions thread have been added to four Q&A pages: RuneQuest: Roleplaying in Glorantha – Q&A by Chapter RuneQuest Gamemaster Screen Pack – Q&A RuneQuest Glorantha Bestiary – Q&A The Red Book of Magic – Q&A They are organised by Chapter and in page number order. You can search them: minimum of three characters - eg Q&A use quotes to find an exact reference eg "page 54" It not only contains Jason's thread, but : Rune Fixes 3rd July 2018,Second Printing Clarifications, Corrections and Additions 1.0.0. and clarifications from a translation document. Due to the limitations of this site, answers by Jason outside of his main thread have not been added as I can't search easily for them. If you know of any please add the link below. If there are any relevent answers by Jeff I will also include them them. This is a growing resource and further answers will be added when available. If you have a Question, please ask on the RuneQuest Rules Q&A thread.
  21. I've just checked all of our certificates and they are all installed properly. This is likely a propagation problem with the DNS of your mobile or VPN provider's DNS not yet updated as I only added the certificate for that site late last week. It may be further complicated as the site had a broken DNS for some months which I've just managed to fix. Google will eventually see it's now working and update its search. Depending on how your VPN is setup it may use your providers DNS for lookup or its own (https://security.stackexchange.com/questions/13900/if-i-use-a-vpn-who-will-resolve-my-dns-requests).
  22. Louis over on Facebook was asking about the Index for the GPC which was cut from the printed book. I've posted the copy that Greg sent me to the Great Hall. Eventually it will be searchable on the site site and i'll add it back into the PDF. https://greathall.chaosium.com/publications/arthaus-2004/ww17800-the-great-pendragon-campaign/ww17810-great-pendragon-campaign-index/
  23. Yes, most PDF readers let you do it, for example I use Apple's built-in Preview to do exactly that. Yes, but not what you expect. Book 2 of the CoC Starter has exactly that. Okay so you have to buy it, but you get three excellent beginning scenarios and a solo with it. The solo lets you learn the rules. I give it and the rules to new player to have a go. https://www.chaosium.com/call-of-cthulhu-starter-set-pdf/ If you buy the physical product you get the PDF for free.
